Suited and booted!

Now to submit them and hope that they're acceptable...

I'm being productive again, yay!

Rebuilt Do You Even Lift? as a CW, since it didn't really work as a MW. Now has tougher armour, a tougher lifting arm (with counterweights so it can actually lift stuff), better drive, and a lick of paint.

Could still use a little work (I think the wedges are too far forward and it still looks a little bland) but it performs a lot better now.

Been messing around with a few ideas for GTM Live. Putting them in spoiler tags because there's a few of them.

Can I get a better view of death stalker, and also what about turning the steel extenders on the flipper into Ti? Or a more powerful burst motor>

Downgraded the flipper extenders to Ti and also redesigned it a little:

It can kinda flip things now? But I also have 56kg left to play with and no idea what to spend it on :P It definitely came out looking better than my crappy attempt at an extenderbot, though:

So the former's getting submitted to GTM Live and the latter probably isn't.

Do like the look of absolute zero. Try splitting the arm into two and having it powered by two bursts maybe. Both extra weight and more flipping power used then.

Progress.

Discord III is my first bot built with DSC Pack 3. 794.9kg, 4 Slimbody Motors, 10mm Plastic with a titanium extender frame. It's better than Discord 2 in pretty much every conceivable way. Extender work's a little messy in places but I love the contrasting colour scheme. Wondering if it would look better with a white or grey disc...?

The colour scheme is supposed to look jarring, to go with the robot's theme of disharmony, but glad you guys like the extender frames at least :D I seem to be good at those but terrible at actual extenderbots...

I feel like black and white would achieve that better. IMO is just looks... bad...

Might work better with a silver disc, the red one is really, really bad.

Now that my International Wars entry has been accepted, I can unveil it here. Presenting, the Horror of Koror! (Koror, as I'm sure you all know, is the largest city in Palau.)

It started off as an upgraded version of my old undercutter Bluebird, but then IW was announced and I was like, "I have a great idea!" It has 4 large Typhoon Teeth and deals pretty good damage. I'm not happy with the wheelguards though tbh, those need work.

I quite like how vivid the colour scheme is and how well the disc represents the circle in the centre of the flag of Palau. Also a fan of how compact the insides are. Nice stuff.

Thanks guys, I was beginning to think nobody would catch that  :laughing It's true that it's a bit bright, but it's not my fault that Palau has such a garish flag. And TR, this is the benefit of building the same robot over and over: I can gradually shrink the chassis down more and more each time.
