I disagree. If I were to change the pole spikes, I'd use Lightning spikes.

Yeah, Lightning spikes look cooler than razors in this specific situation. Too many sharp angles ruin its purity. :P

Probably the latter. Does a Geared Beta count as a spin motor as well?

it is a spin motor.. the axle limits are just 180 degrees like the DSL axle that everyone makes flails out of..  :gawe:

Can you make a spinnmotor with a degreelimit that spinns in one direction untill you stop spinning?

I never said FSS :P I use them on some SnS robots myself ...

Can the Geared Beta flip stuff?

no.. there is some RA2 coded thing I think that prevents spin motors lifting (including servos) no matter how strong

Can you make a spinnmotor with a degreelimit that spinns in one direction untill you stop spinning?

I know where you are going with this and no you cant

using a python like THz.py you can but for human control you need you finger on the button

but its not much use if you read the above answer  ;)

I bet you can, with 2 switch controls and a locked spin motor.

yeah I just thought of a locked axle too

but even so.. it wouldn't lift anything as its not possible for a spin or servo motor (so I have been told by Click I think it was?)

anyway Back on topic now

servos can lift if they have a counterweight.

@DSCs bot:

Is there no way to save weight by using an other extenderwork to save weight?

I go away for one day and there's 2 new pages, what the heff?

Right off the bat:

Yes, it's a geared Beta motor, not the flipper. 14 ant batteries to overpower the bot (I always try to include more batteries as necessary in my designs. I'm not one for weak bots at the 2 minute mark.)

- Wheels changed from minis to hypnos
- Spikes changed from 'generic' to Lightnings.

Weight is now 764.2, which is where I think it will stay unless there is a solid idea for what could be done with that weight.

Also, MW version made. 30Kg hammer on a 120cm poly extender makes for a rough ride :P
