These 2 'bots are designed to go together and one of them is a drone attempt! Meet the deadly duo, Dragoon and Flying Knife!

You have to be the first person to make a drone IRL bot. I approve.

Was going to say that.
Personally I thought about doing one as well for the Warrior Clan replica that I'm working on, however I rather would've liked to somehow make it fly via motors instead of having that huge hovercraft(who I didn't think would still be in DSL). Maybe Click could add a mini hovercraft to DSL 2.3 with the rule that this thing can only be used up to 100(or 150?) kg support drones and not main bots?

Get yourself paint.net downloaded, it's so much better than MS paint. The bot itself looks pretty cool, I think the paintjob is too bright and garish tho

That is what I have currently done. Hopefully, there will be a 'bot on this showcase that utilises paint.net. Just trying to experiment with it at the moment.

Just got a chance to look through this thread. Nice bots, I especially like the Tentobot and the drone bot.

You should also skin that behemoth plow on the bot on the previous page. It would definitely complete the look.

When you are complimented by one of the best RA2 builders ever, you know you're doing something right. ;)
Anyways, I made a  robot with paint.net! It used a bit of MS Paint, but only for the  trimming of the edges. Here is Unstable Nucleus!

Sorry for the double post, but I have done a thing that is... odd. It's based off a certain wood 'bot in 2016 and a joke Dara 'O' Briain made to the team of said wooden 'bot. It even has its own skin as well! Meet HMS Dara's Boat!

Heh, I was thinking about building something similar or reskinning a bot to have wood like armor.
By the way can you press F12 and take a screenshot in the botlab?
I guess that the invisible "wheel traction" box of the Tazbot wheels is rather big up to the point where it clips outside of the chassis.(as far as I know, the game uses that hitbox to apply force to the chassis if the powered wheel is touching the ground).
Ironforge has this issue to a even bigger degree and has insane traction values, often allowing bots to be spiders and climb up walls(try it out with Tunnel Rat in the testing garage).

After looking at RedAce's DSL Reborn pack, I thought to myself: "I could steal his bots create my own set of 45 'bots with influences from Stock, DSL and other stock AI packs!" Anyways, I decided to recreate Grog, and after thinking if I wanted either the axe or FBS, I thought: "Wynaut both?"
And thus, Grog, The Revengeance was born...

Sweet, I was also thinking about doing a IF pack but after seeing how the physics in IF are I decided to scrap that, might do it in DSL instead. Personally I'll make Grog a thwacker(so the team can have a brute force low tech weapon theme) but this one combines both nicely and helps with the driving since you know where front is.

Aw dude.  How did I not think of that.  That would have made the axes in the pack a little more diverse.

Pretty cool overall.  Would probably look even better with a proper skin to the chassis, but still not bad.

I made a Plan X-esque attempt. This is what I got at first.

It was a mess. The first version wasn't that bad, but it was scrapped as it looked messy, with the rear bar looking bad and the blade being high off the ground with a limited range. The side plating was also rather ramshackle and the wheels were a bit of an eyesore, further contributing to a scrapped 'bot.

That doesn't mean I scrapped the concept, though, as I recreated it with a cleaner look, better plating and other tweaks and stuff. Meet the Oversized Monstrosity!

As you can tell, the frame is a lot cleaner and the main weapon is better positioned. The rear armour piece has weapons now and the overall look is a lot better than before.

I like it, except the ramming rack on the back. Feels a bit tacked on and out of place. Love the rest of the bot.
