Both of these look really solid doots! I'm surprised you managed to get Implosion as light as you did because it looks like it's heavier!

Implosion is defiantly my faivorate and I'm assuming he's relatively small as that design looks like it was hard not to make a HW

Cocytus is excellent. Love big american-style slabs of metal on wheels. I get the reference as well. My BBEANS 5 entry had that name :P

Thanks, heh. Never actualy realised you had a 'bot called Cocytus until now, so whoops. :P

In other news, this is what happens when you attempt to play with modular 'bots. I think this is one of the very few times you'll see me mess around with this build style.
Oryx's Judgement.png

Meet Oryx's Judgement. A robot with 6 different configs to play around with (though its only 5 now because 2 configs were too similar), Oryx's Judgement has these configs:
A: Flamer Wedge. Designed to hold foes down with the spikes and burn the juicy internals apart.
B: Tank Wedge. This isn't featuring, but its a heavy steel wedge that can take heavy blows.
C: Flipper. For lobbing over robots that can't self-right. Which is... almost none.
D: Horizontal Flywheel. Your standard MOE-styled spinnah. Quite underweaponed, but still decent nonetheless.
E: Drum Spinner. Made to kill HS'es and FBS'es with 2 ripping blades inside the drum.
F: Battering Ram. A heavy wall with a massive spike to deal good internal damage to foes.

All these configs have the same drive (2 rear TWM3R's and 2 front slims) which makes Oryx's Judgement bloody agile. The only problem I've had is battery power, though, mostly because theres so little to cram into the MW category. Ah, well. :V

Coming soon to Swiss Army Warfare...

In my quest for IRL based domination, I seem to have realised that I have yet to build an Antweight. Also as it turns out, SAW is still in signups, but I have made an alternate config for a robot I entered. And GTM CSS 2 things as well. Yay!

OJ-newattachment.png

Oryx's Judgement now has a seventh modular config, a large lifting blade designed to piss off spinners and other robots with high ground clearances. While it can't deal much damage, this blade has the capability to win fights through immobilisation.

Intruder!.png

Here's my first antweight, INTRUDER! If you've ever played NAR AI then you'll know exactly what this is based off of. While its not a great fighter, being an AW lifter and all, its one that I am happy with nonetheless. Also happens to actually work which is even better.

Eosphoros.png

And here is the GTM CS 2 IRL entry, Phosphorous. No, this is not a tombclone, rather an Ultimo Clone-structo(?) that has some heavy kick to it with 100KGs of bar spinnah. While the MOE-tor version had to be retconned, the Perm 132 version is still pretty damn good. Also gave me more weight to play around with, so the loss of the MOE-tor ended up as a boon in a weird way.

(EDIT: I know the version I have shown was the original version with the MOE-tor. Please ignore that. :V)

if you didn't tell me that the ant was an ant I would have said it was a MW or something because it's so clean

Have to agree with G.K here. The Module bot is pretty impressive, but I got to say the drum module and the flamethrower module are definitively my favorites out of the six, despite all the modules being equally effective.

What do you do when you run out of ideas? You make a Blacksmith clone!
Forgery.png

Here is Forgery. This is now my actual GTM CS 2 IRL entrant and is basically Blacksmith but tankier in a way. Quite happy with how this turned out, in all fairness. The panels were a bit of a bitch to get right, but when I got them right, they managed to fit perfectly. Weighs 798.0 KGs, has 3mm aluminium chassis armour and has titanium plate construction because i still have doubts about Aluminium armour for whatever reason.

does it have any issues with 'jumping'?

It's a new year, so its usually the time for me to fire out a robot pretty late in comparison to others. This is one of those times.
Doomsday Prophecy.png

Enter The Doomsday Prophecy. A massive, hulking Crossfire-inspired robot, complete with a flamethrower to make the whole thing even more ridiculous. This weighs in at 799.2KG's and though it only has 1mm Titanium, this thing hits like a freight train. With 2 Moros blades, the damage is cataclysmic if it manages to hit whoever it faces.

The thing may be unstable as anything, but I'm happy with it. My first robot of 2018, everyone.

Hmm. It's very similar to Squirrel Monkey's latest which kinda takes away from it IMO. Well built as usual though

My plan to make a Crossfire-inspired robot was lingering around way before S_M made his take on the robot. Nonetheless, thanks! ^_^

Taking a real or RA2 robot's gimmick is not all that original anyway, so who cares? As long as a robot does its job (look cool, fight well, whatever) then the robot is good.
