ok here is my frist DSL drum bot. i know its a SHW and the power supply is a cheat part but in real life it would be lighter and i would have a littlemore room for a free placement batt system. so dont say anything about that.
the srimech on the back(its up now) also makes a great way to flip the other bot back on to the drum when hes gone over the top of me.
Holy crap they do exist!!!! :Rob2

Nice bot there. I like the use of the lifting arm to put the opponent back to the drum just like my bot CoNunDRUM. May I ask what parts were used for the lifting arm?

Cheater. What's this small battery?

I'm sure you could use bigger wheels (and grippier btw) to make your bot invertible, and get rid of this overweighted srimech. And reduce the length of yor bot in the same time, kinda like the Troll.

I was also concerned about the battery power myself. What do you use for it?

I have 2 questions about the bot though other than the lifting arm:

1. is the drum high enough off the ground?
2. Are all the Drum pieces connected together or is it 2 separate pairs of drums?

It can only be 2 because it is powered by 2 weapon motors.

its 2 drums that are just high enough to clear the ground. the spikes on the shrmech are vald lifters. as i said its a realistic bot so i had to use that power source or icers AA batt to get the free form batt system. Any way heres somthing that should never be tryed. 3 duale perms that are servo bursted. it has cheatbot2 parts but they are all stock.

Well...

-Dont use ant batts when you can use battlepacks
-These motors are lame, try using four drive TWM3R's with hypno wheels on... it owns badly
-Are you sure this thing is balanced?

i konw that the power to wight % of the orange batts ist as good as the battlepaks but i have that bot over powered by about 30 amps. if i have the spare wight then i like these due to the fact that you can get at least 5 in 1 stacking. i know you can stack the battle packs but the most i have got is 3 and it took forever.

k i made this for the simple fact that i havent made any good under blades. the weapon system is interchangable so any thoughts on improving it would be wellcomed. i tried to make it a DSL bar with triple stacked irons but i hit the 7 rule and thought that this setup was best.

For WTF... Well, looks mean. (And if you kept silent i wouldn't have remarked at all this chassis copy!) But next time make a HW VS that could beat grog. Or perhaps you want to launch a DSL SHW AI pack ?

Very good job on WTH, bot and skin. One problem: the double magmotor isn't supposed to be a drive motor. It's a weapon motor. Tried this a long time ago on a HS (A long time ago!): for the drive train, Four Drive TWM3R's is WAY better than two TWM3R2.

So you could retrograde the double to simple (drive version, heh!), perhaps put a grippier wheel, perhaps add some side armorbut most important AUGMENT THE REACH of your undercutter. Longest weapon (perhaps a vlad spike will work? not sure... an overkill blade could too but IDK the weight of these), or put these spikes on an extender.

I'm sure of something: You're definitely way better in HS than in VS.

i am thinking of a SHW AI pack. the SHW dose gyro but not much at all. i will try the drive motors. i havent even used these ones yet so it was an experiment. as for the longer reach i was worried about spin up time and space. i will try both of your ideas and tell you what works best. BTW i just beat every MW in DSL without 1 lose. that im prod of. lol. and your right i am better at HS then VS but only cause i made way more HS. im learning but its kinda hard. i have seen that if you have your VS at a 22.5 deg angle then the gyro effect is greatly reduced.

ok i put 2 vlad spikes on a bar and side armor but i had to drop 2 battle pack cause the spikes are 30KG each. it got fliped almost every hit. it still wins but is way less stable so i will put extenders on the iron setup. good call on the motors though. thanks for the help.

I'll be inpressed when I see a bot without parts going through other parts.
