It looks nice but you might want to use something other than a shell panel for the wedge.

Thanks Enigma

Anyways for my next IRL design.
I decided to make a Bot Launcher.
(Image removed from quote.)
The bot is called Blue Mischeif.
How it works: The flipper is powered by a Judge Burst, that is attached to a Servo Piston, so the flipper goes up & forward at the same time.

Nice use of the taz parts.

Just a couple things to think about to make your bots even better looking.

Your parts don't quite fit right and that visually detracts from the bot a bit. Your skirt hinges, while a cool idea are a little too short compared to the chassis and consequently make the bot look a little off.

Also work on your skinning. Flat colors with scratches and grime and small decals tend to look better than crazy textures from texture packs.

I use mspaint to skin my bots so skinning is kinda hard for me.

I prefer paint.net over Gimp and mspaint. However as I am at a group home with no wi-fi with my newly fixed laptop (I was playing RA2 on my family's computer that would only run mspaint because I didn't have Service Pack 2).  So I will get it when I get home because mobile phones can't download zip or rar files.

New showcase of several (unpainted) bots as well as the construction of a new one Kl@ng... and yeah I know most of these designs are trash, I quit the game in 2012 so my designs may be a bit dated Kappa.

Hurricane is pretty generic, seeing as it's literally just a box on wheels with a spinner crudely slapped on. Try adding some ramming spikes or a wedge. You also seem to have forgotten about eb0ny in your nearly hour-long video, although I kind of skimmed through the first few minutes of it. Might want to take some pictures of your robots anyway.

You do know that typing out Kappa doesn't work on every site though, right?
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Yeah hurricane is pretty awful but to be fair it is my one of my first attempts at a middleweight, and eb0ny is just an awful Smashbox clone, but yeah I will take pics sometime this week.

Well it's been a year since I last posted in my showcase, and a lot has changed. Most notably Serge had found a way to make the Rule of 7 disappear, and Robot Arena 3 has been announced. So this is my first bot in a while, may I present 7Breaker.

It has a custom titanium shell designed to protect the otherwise exposed drive motors, the armor is aluminum 10. However the trade-off for all this is that it is rather slow, as I have no way to make it into 4 wheels there is no way to fix this.

This is the first bot I have built using Serge's mod that removes the Rule of 7, and I feel I will be having a lot of fun with this mod.

Not bad. You should clean it up a bit, I feel, so the plates are less irregular.

Sigh once again it has been a year between bots that I have built (I guess that is a thing with me). Anyhow once again using Serge's RA2 Component Freedom mod I have created an IRL Middleweight disc spinner.

The robot is called Hi-Calibre, and is armored in 3mm steel. Hi-Calibre is also the most compact design I have built so far being roughly the size of a Lightweight. The inspiration for this design came from Robot Wars competitor Aftershock.

For mobility it has two cambered Pussycat Wheels driven by two Team Whyachi motors. Despite the weapon being driven by a Perm 80 the bot doesn't do that much damage. This is due to the fact that I once again sacrificed effectiveness for looks.

Side note: I was a bit worried RA2 would not run on my new Windows 10 gaming laptop, but it runs just fine.

Damn that thing looks sick. Love the cambered wheels. One thing I'd recommend is downloading DSCs IRL Extender/Armour packs, which are pretty much standard in DSL IRL building these days. You can find them here: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=19384.0

Looks super cool as-is though.

the reason it doesnt do that much damage is because the backlash disc has really really crappy normals

stick a microvore disc on there instead and your damage will increase heavily
