It's crap, but I like the looks of it a lot.

Thanks?
I'm not sure whether to downgrade the drivetrain and invest in more weaponry or not.

Alternate version. Nothing will probably ever come of this, just wanted to try it.

And I'll have a play around with slims see what I can do with the extra 10kg

1. People go running into the bot, or the bot runs into people.
2. From the force on the DSL Bar, the spikes shoot upwards.

3) The razors then gut rip the opponent (Optional)

o.o Didn't know RA2 could work like that. You kids and your inertia powered weapons nowadays! I need to get to grips with them, has been too long. D:

The downside to inertia powered weapons is that they need one good hit right at the start of the match or they are up the creek without a paddle.

That looks very easy to flank, so I'd widen the setup a little. Also use something other than a T extender considering that the are entirely obsolete in DSL

I'm not certain that'll work, to be honest. The razors aren't going to be moving with any speed when they hit the opponent, they ideally need to be below the chassis.

I'll replace the t extender with something and test the robot out later. See what happens.

RESULTS OF TESTING

Back to the drawing board.

To elaborate: It flipped itself over most times upon initial impact. It would then spend most of its time flailing about like a fish out of water.

Finally! A robot that isn't complete and utter tripe!
It bears some resemblances to NFX's latest bot in his showcase. Purely coincidential I swear :P

You can shrink the chassis a bit but it hardly matters at this weight i guess...
I'm guessing its very front heavy?

Weapons touching the ground do little/no damage.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything
