Some of the weapons are too high, you're best using a \_/ style trapping front for the weapons to hit all at the same time.

Pretty good but i think it would work better if the top few were a clamp.

You mean mounted on a Bsg and came down on top of the opponent?

Now its a Spinner/axe hybrid...
Change it to a servo and cut back on an ant (unless you want the extra little power)

I think that the top pair of clamps might be a bit far back, and may possibly lack in damageness. Top clamp is a nice idea. I think that mounting the SZ forwards of the wedge might allow you to have the clamp raise when it's fired, rather than lower, to act as a proper clamp.

The burst motor fires upwards the comes down to clamp if thats what you mean.
In testing it just loves to flip over when it grabs something. Then it can't self right. Bah.

Change your drive setup to only 2 npc fast with technos instead of hypnos, that might help.

dp:

One crash diet later and the king looks like this.
I decided to ditch the clamp idea after no matter what I did the front of the robot would always raise up enough to render the front wedges and the clamp useless.
Now i'm left with the weight of a AW to spare and am not sure what to do with it.

Looks really good.  But would it be better if you put the beater bars on the edge attach points of the discs?  Then you wouldn't risk losing the beaters before the razors (although that is already unlikely) and it would protect the motors better.

Speaking of protecting the motors, it might be better if the outside spinners were Piglets like the original, so HS couldn't break the motors easily.

I will get round to making improvements on King Caractacus. Eventually.
For now have a sacrifical robot which uses samurai swords and sai as weapons.

So yeah. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Disregard the fact it abbreviates down to JLS.
Made for fun for an online battle with s_m
Annoying I only found out it could move upside down AFTER the match, but oh well.

Now that challenge is over I can post this. It didn't do too badly I think.
