the flipper arms look a bit awkward, sticking all the way out like that. but other than that its really nice
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Thanks, it's my take on the mighty Roadblock. I had alot of trouble with the arms as one kept disappearing, I don't know why. Just managed to get it all together and make a splash. Haven't tested this version yet.

Try replacing the 2 angled aluminum skirt with overkilled blade to balance out the visual......  You can probably get the weight by cutting chassis armor and those steel extenders.

Nice, I like it. I also think the arms seem a little awkward, but they look cool.

I'm still not sure how realistic RA2 is when it comes to these kinds of things, but I think if you made those spikes next to the arms longer and up higher, when you lift opponents it would tip the bot forward and stabilize it at an angle, similar to how Vlads Fulcrum wheels worked, which would allow you to gun it forward and have a better chance of flipping the other bots, unless my mental science is all screwed up.

Interesting comments but it mostly doesn't work anyway: Bio flippers don't work and aft drum weapons don't work properly. I will make a new version when I get round to it again. Was fun to make but difficult.

Here's a question: If I edit a chassis in the .bot file, can I do just about any shape I want or will it just crash if I go too mad?

yeah if you go batsh** insane with it like making the chaysis intersect itself or something that crashes the game

I think if you do it right you can make crazy shapes, but one missing number/badly written line and you risk corrupting the whole bot file.

yeah, you'll always want to make backups before you go and tamper with things like that.

You can avoid that by keeping the bot file on notepad++ and undo your mistake if you crash the game.

but the game constantly modifies the bot file, therefore notepad++ promptly asks me for a reload or something

Yeah I use notepad++ for most of it.

Would something like this be possible?:

Think chassis wtih legs and a big disc underneath, like a giant spider or something? I tried making a bot like this before with Nightmare's struts but it didn't work.

Nah I'm pretty sure the game doesn't recognize chassis bends like that, unfortunately.

I don't think so, too much starting points. You'll probably rape your bot file.

You're welcome to try though.

Well, chassis raised like that won't have attachment points beside the 4 legs.  If you successfully make that chassis you would still need to hack the components in.

The Devil from Stock? If you look underneath it, it's chassis is actually very complex. It has bends that you wouldn't be able to do traditionally, and tedious through bot editing, or I'd think so.

That's an interesting idea for a bot though, would love to see it in action.
