I think I will get back to making some normal robots for a while and pick this up later. If anyone would like to take up the baton in the mean-time would be interesting to see what a fresh perspective can do. I'd be interested in seeing if anyone can come up with an efficient non-wheel/track based turning method.

I have started to update my site, if anyone can think of some good things to add I'm open to suggestions.

I'm very surprised that you actually made a walking bot with pistons! Besides the centipede, no other piston walker bot I made could escape insane havocking. Piston walkers were then excluded.
I don't know how and why havoc didn't occur to your weaponless walker, though.

In my opinion, weaponized walkers can only work against other walkers. A fast wheeled bot will very easily push, flip and throw a walker.

Since a walker can have twice the weight of a wheeled robot in its weight class if you can get the propulsion really efficient there is the potential for some pretty devastating weaponry. Could be a big advantage if I could just get the thing to walk.

Just made some new ones. That reminds me if I put custom stuff on I need a custom showcase right?

Yeah probably, if it's one component everyone will probably let it slide though.

OK I will move over to the custom section. Just about everything will have customisation from now on so may as well start now.
