Just before I read your post, I actually ran some tests without the castors, and it works just as well, so they're gone, and I'll look into the wheels. Thanks :)

D'you know that when i started DSL i actually didn't, and when i was modding Forkie i thought they did it by AAM ?

Heh, I think I spent over a year using just the default attachment points, because I had no idea what the unselected points where, or how to change to them.

---

Anyway, looks like you're improving all of the time there.  That extender looks vunerable. Think of an upgrade to a DSL bar. Does damage (if little) but the more useful advantage is higher HP. Wonder if you have the weight left to get a good one, though.

Lol, I only worked that out yesterday XD
And it helped dramatically on the new Stealth Destroyer (which still has a bit of free space in it, which i should probably sort out at some point)

But here it is so far. I've got way too much time on my hands...

5mm Titanium
And I went kinda overboard on weapons, since I knew I wouldn't make Heavyweight, so I shoved some stuff on to make a half-decent SHW
And yes, that support arm is completely necessary, might change it for a DSL bar though.

That unrealistic thingy in the center COULD be changed into a pressured wedge. I'd use a titanium sheet.

What, the back club-arm? Are you suggesting like putting it under the disc?

The flamethrower thing is as pointless as your burst motor weapon.

Make that a pure VS with just a vertical spinning weapon. Vertical spinners generally make poor hybrids (bots with more than one weapon type on it).

Okay, got rid of all that rubbish, and came up with what is probably the worst idea ever.
Shove an extra disc on the side. Oh, and ignore that weight (or add 500), I forgot to take my anti-ballast off.

Okay, been away for a while, then I saw some clips of Team Razor's 'Warhead', which partly inspired the original version of my new machine, Rezork (yeah, showing the influence)

DSA Armor

I know it's gonna get a lot of criticism, but, I quite like this robot XD

I know, but I didn't really have the weight to put anything on there. The front wedges to stop the armour being destroyed too quickly were more important to me

DSA is the worst armor in the game. Aluminum 3 is the same weight but better.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

@Naryar: I noticed last night, lol. I got rid of all them.
@Somebody: Okay, I'll try that.

Also, I got rid of the treads (they weren't doing much help lol), moved the motors nearer the chassis and put some TD wheels on, then put a big DSL bar accross the back to protect them a bit.

DSA is the worst armor in DSL only, but in Stock that's the best one. Aluminum 3 is the same weight but better.

fixed.

EDIT: also only use DRIVE Eteks for drive. that makes for a wickedly fast drive with Techno Destructo's wheels. just built a rammer with that, it's FAST but unstable as heck.

I just applied the drive etek logic (lol) to my other bot, Error In Programming, that I was gonna showcase, and it's pretty darn fast now. It has 5mm Steel Armour (best I could get for the weight I has left over)

EDIT: Yeah, theres a lot of empty space. And there are 2 different weights on those screenshots... it's actually 791.9

I'm happy with it, especially seem as though the previous version of it did this

And now, I'll go work on Rezork.

Weapon at back is not needed.

Try a set of razors.
