I'm relatively new to Robot Arena so tips are greatly appreciated!

Here is Lambaste, my medium weight spinner bot:



(Has steel 5 armor on)
He's pretty good and can beat most of the AI bots, but I don't know how I can improve more.

Hi! Welcome to the forums!
The design is pretty sound for a spinner, though there are a few things I'd look at.

The bottom DSL bar looks like it intersects the Perm motor. While not really a problem, is a personal gripe.
I think the weaponry could be improved personally. If you are to do the 2 bar setup, I'd stagger the bars perpendicular to each other, this will make it harder for another bot to hit that piece of chassis.
As for the chassis, try rebuilding the shape to end at the Perm, the area with the weapons in could be shed to allow more weight to put into defence and weaponry.

I think someone will say things about the battery but I am no expert in DSL 2.2 so I'll let someone else do that.

But for a first bot it looks pretty good. If it works, it works.

It's decent for a first build. Unrealistic though, we prefer realistic building in DSL.

"unrealistic" here means don't make components pass through each other than couldn't have a slot or something in real life. i.e. spike passing through a snowplow = yes. spinning bar passing through your motors and wheels = no
