Reaper's Hug looks groovy, how well do the Behemoth scoops direct opponents into the weapon?

It works pretty well actually. The main issue with the bot is the low-ish reach, but it's not a huge issue. The DPS is insane.

yeah, the firestorm flipper. It works really well as a srimech. I'd usually prefer to make my bots invertible or auto-self-righting, since a srimech is wasted weight that could be spent on something else. It's really difficult to get either of those 2 options when you're working with the behemoth scoop side panels though since they're so tall.

lynel.png

Based on a lynel from Zelda: Breath of the Wild (specifically the one with the shock arrows). Was going for an archer on horseback vibe, which is where the piston on 4WD base came from. Looked at spike strips and thought they could represent lightning arrows from BotW quite well, adn the armour panels on the front are a bit like the lynel's armour plates. And the two sheets that point up are like a couple of horns.

My bot for VG Showdown 2. Above is the justification I gave freeziez for it being video game related. Based on (or moreso inspired by) the dude below

Click me for the HQ video splash

The hammer prevents bots from just flying over the top. Also does a bit extra damage, helps with bots with halfsheet armour and acts as a srimech. Great wedges too.

I'm not happy with how I did the rear motors, but oh well. Inspired by the McLaren MCL-34 F1 car.

Awesome. The race car aesthetics look very good. I particularly like how you did the skin, the front of the bot, and the hammer

I made something for Micro Machines. It's smaller than the screenshots make it look. 793ish kg.

I love how smooth your animated previews are.

Bot looks both destructive and solid as all hell, looking forward to seeing this one in the arena!

That is dope man.  The only thing I'd say kinda irks me is the hammer is kinda clipping the shock absorber thing in the back tail.  Everything else looks pretty neat.

My only real issue is that gap between the wheelguards and the chassis where the drive motors poke out. I think it would look a lot cleaner if you filled that with an extender so the wheelguards flowed seamlessly into the chassis

maybe put the wedgelets on hinges so it can actually get under something? it would cost like 20kgs tho so you would have to downgrade the armour quite a bit so idk. also would be kinda cool to put the vs on a servo piston instead for a dead metal vibe
