If I flip it around, the extenders holding the flails intersect with the CB, the don't reach out far enough.

Try moving the MEs further back.

Also, try a setup which doesn't use Alu 3. Maybe put more weapons on, or something. Alu 3 is horrible.

Did you attempt any of this?

He can't move them because this is for Naryar's tourney which uses a set chassis.

Nope. To quote the rules:

"What you CAN but are not obliged to do to the original chassis :
-Change chassis armor as you wish, in the limits of what the botlab can provide.
-If you are not happy with the component loadout, remove a maximum of 2 components out of the chassis. If there is only ONE instance of a certain component in the original chassis, however, you may not remove it.
-Move components as needed
-Skin it."

So it is perfectly within the rules to move the MEs to where you require.

Still not too keen on those horizontal flails. Personally i'd turn them vertical.

does it havok at all with that tiny as heck chassis and those flails ?
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Still not too keen on those horizontal flails. Personally i'd turn them vertical.
Personally, I second this. I also think it would be a better idea to downgrade the armour and add more weapons, but that's just personal preference.

Nah the extra width is useful with the horizontal flails.

Horizontal hexplates and vertical flails? Best of both worlds.

It actually has titanium 1, for some reason I got it wrong, so i don't have enough weight for 4 vertical flails anyways. I've put a crap skin on it and I'll be sending it soon.

The chassis seems exposed and NPCs for drive would be better.

I tried to get NPCs in but where would I get the weight from? I don't particularly want to put weaker armor on. I'll see if I could do something about the chassis.

you can make the chassis smaller in the back with NPCS
Also, use one small multi extender instead of 2 extra small ones since multi extenders have low HP. The small one would be attached to the baseplate and would be indestructible.

IIRC those 2 extra ones your talking about are actually a part of the Taz wedge.

Update:

Unhappy. I haven't tested, but I doubt that things will ride ontop of the drum, due to the lack of a wedge. It looks Horrible and one of the wedges has a horrible AGOD.

Anything else I could improve?

So yeah, I made a thing in DSL 3 at 1 in the morning on a crappy laptop while still a little drugged up after an emergency surgery. I don't know what I expected to make, but it looks cool to me I guess.

What is the meta in DSL 3 with regards to batteries? Is spamming ants still the way to go, or is it best to have a few small ones?
