Doing well on BBEANS AI. Just beat TuniT, Inertial Deathlock, Red, Red, Red and Fight or Flight. Quite please, tbh.

:(

Just as I was pleased with myself. Just had a brief look at the latest pages of 123STW's Showcase. SNS, a FSS and a FS. Nothing my bots could even touch. Even his 1-wheeled LW would give my HW a hard time, I bet.

Downloading 123AI, to see how much I need to improve.

I disagree, if you look into NAR AI you can find bots on par with 123AI

There are more 'higher level' bots in 123 but NAR AI has way more teams so you would guess there would be a load more variety in bots.I would just get both TBH

I have both. =P

NEW(ish) BOT!

Before you comment on the need to shrink the chassis, I'm not, mainly because I really cba. Chassis shrinking will get me less than 10 KGs, which is useless. And more chassis HP from the large chassis.

Also, I personally prefer AP 1.5, what about you guys?

Apart from that, criticize away!

It's nice but wont bots run over the top?
And that chassis will save a lot if most is mounted outside which could be armour, more weapons or something so stop them going over the top

The skirts on AP 1.5 just hinder the robot, Using drive to keep robots on top makes it very damaging.

If those are titanium halfsheets on the bottom, then why are they angled so?

Perms may also be a bit much here, normally TWMR3's get the job done well enough for a good chunk less weight.

For stability

Ok, thanks. I may try that, when I get the time. Would piglets also work?

piglets are fine.

Which would let you get a smaller chassis, and better armour.

You'll want TMR3s for definate if you want four spinners. If you want two use dual mags.

You can lower the chassis, by a lot.  The point of lowering chassis is not to save weight, but so you get a less steep second wedge.

And 4x TWM should be good enough for this.

The back spinners are worthless unless a bot is flat on top. Which it cannot be because you have nothing to hold it there.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

The back spinners are worthless unless a bot is flat on top. Which it cannot be because you have nothing to hold it there.

To hold a bot flat I would need The front of my front spinners to the place where my 'holding' device to be longer than the whole of the other bot, including wedges. Without a holding device the robots wedges ect hang over, so I can gut-rip the chassis.

A couple things with this robot:
  • It has horrid weight distribution, thanks to the weighty back disks.
  • If I try to put technos on it, the front rises when I accelerate because of the WD. Therefore, it is too slow.

TBH, I think AP 2 was a fail. I'll keep improving 1.5, making new bots, and mabey AP 3???

That's too slow, and what 123 and Somebody said.

And you can definitely win more than 10kg by shrinking that chassis, even if you use Plastic 1 (that I doubt you do)

I've given up on AP2.

Does anyone know how to get rid of DS armour? Every time I try to put some armour on now it is Double Strength. (i.e useless)

Going from Plas. 1 to Steel 1o is about 100 KGs, with DS. -_-

You probably just click that box under the armor selection, which makes your armor "look" like DSA, but isn't.
