Something slightly less low-effort.

There's a long black batt hiding in the back there, and the VDMA is a medium.
Reptillion's drum looks OP, but awesome nonetheless.
I also feel bad for the other bot, who's been completely over-shadowed by Reptillion.
It's actually fairly weak, the weapons it uses (matilda teeth and ant blades) are pretty trash in 2.2, at least in my testing. Looks cool tho.
That paper thin flipper...

yeah, a proper armour plate flipper would be too heavy and unable to get under anything. And I don't think there would be a way to not make it look weird and sh**ty on the chassis either :/

Edit: better?

Reptilium's drum imo would look better if more teeth were on different sides of the drum unless you have 32 teeth.

Oh, so they're not all in a row? I might change it and see how it looks. The issue with that is though is that other bot will just sit on top of the teeth instead of being hit by the front of the tip, so it won't do any damage. I already have a similar issue with the current setup.

Yes, I've just noticed the typo I made. :V

But the looks, man.

guess what these are for

tinytantrumandsinferno.png

The weapon motors are exposed on both, but my thinking is that for the AW it would be protected by the rotating bar, and for the BW IRL I could just chain drive it but none of the chain drive motors in DSL are light enough (and the flatmotor is OP :dumb)). The drive motors are actually inside polycarb extenders on the AW but it doesn't show well on the screenshot. Steel 1 and a 120x40 polycarb panel for the BW's armour.

CW, nearly got it down to MW but was about 50kg overweight, so I ended up stacking the small typhoon teeth. Slow AF because there's no room internally for larger drive motors.

And a MW version with a Perm-80 and microvore disc (ew):

CW version looks pretty neat although the wheels look kinda out of place. I think I'd personally drop a few of the front wedgelets in order to fill those gaps in the front and top too

MW version looks a bit too tall IMO. Looks kinda disproportionate.

Stacked teeth are also a lot more ew than a microvore disc

You can BFE a burst to swing as far as you want, although it starts getting pretty shaky after 2.9 radians (~166 degrees).

Thank you. You should check out Arcane's showcase, Craaig's cephalopod's showcase or Thyrus's showcase. They're all much better than me at pretty IRL bots

^ this, this particular burst is at 3 radians but it is pretty stable outside of the botlab test arena in my testing.
Capture.PNG

The highlighted text is the entry for the burst component in the .bot file. The last line is the starting position (first number) and ending position (second number) of the burst in radians, with 0 being unmoving from the start position and 2.4 being the furthest away setting in the botlab. You can edit it to whatever you want in the .bot file though, and 3 is about 170 degrees.

It's not a replica, but you could say I was inspired by a certain bot. Triple extender axe shaft looks too thicc to me, but a single looks too thin and a double is off-center and weird. Oh well.

Finally got my RoboGames entries sorted
RG2.png

Top Row, L>R
AW - Chariot of Fire, BW - Jerusalem, LW - Rule Britannia

Middle Row, L>R
MW - I Vow to Thee, my Country, CW - God Save the (Lizard) Queen

Bottom Row, L>R
HW - Land of Hope and Glory, SHW - God Save the (Lizard) Queen and Green and Pleasant Land

Chariot of Fire is probably the most tryhard bot. I used two slightly reskinned Reptilium variants because I'm lazy and have nothing better to enter, double lazy points for entering a HW+MW cluster as a SHW. I'm expecting Land of Hope and Glory to fail the hardest and look brilliant while doing it. Hopefully doot shows off the other side of Jerusalem's skin in the splash so I don't have to take another screenshot.
