Redone half of the extenders to DSL extenders. I'm done for tonight and I have to go to a wedding tomorrow and I have lots of homework on Sunday.

I will report if the extra ant batteries improve the power of the BSGs, I have 14 or 15 ATM.

Anything else I can improve?

Question: Are those wedges meant to flip anything or are they just meant to be wedges? Because if they are just there to be wedges, you could probably get down to about 8/10 ants.

Don't use the cheat control board, and you might want to try using metal hinge wedges, which can be just as good as snapper wedges but a lot lighter.

Watch out for AGOD though XD

Not a Havok, but caused by the Havok physics engine. RA2 was made with a engine that was cheap and in it's infancy at the time, so it has A LOT of bugs.

What happens is when you put the metal hinge wedges on the bot, the wheels turn slowly and burst motors flop.

Then the hinges starts flapping and then flies off into the unknown...
I do those awful YouTube videos.

I'll stick with my trusty burst motor wedges. Flying into the void is dangerous, I mean there are no sandwiches out there...

Ok, I updated the bot with more ants and I re-did the extenders. It's exactly the same as before exept those 2 things, so please tell me what else to improve. I will start on a new bot soon.

I'm also trying NAR AI v1.1. Wish me luck!

Does it feel more powerful with the extra ants? Can you feel the raw power surging through your veins?

Hmm...I wouldn't have used poly extenders to hold the wedges on, try something like flipper segments or DSL Bars. Looks not too bad, apart from that.

Nope, the extra ants don't make much of a difference. Maybe an extra 50 points per hit, nothing special.

It is quite evenly matched in NAR AI. I am making a true popup ATM. So far it has a single Metal hinge wedge, which works well, and can do around 100 points of all the razors connect. It uses 8 razors on 2 small JXes. I'll post pics soon. So far it has beaten Shebeast in NAR, I haven't tested it against anything else yet.

Metal hinge with DSL bar and small wedge is better wedge then snapper wedge.

also, unless only something on the outside was changed, show us the inside of the bot please. further, you're doing very well for someone new.

In a situation where a polycarb extender would be exposed, use flipper segments because they are only 1 kg more and have the HP of a steel extender.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Update on SB2, anything else to improve?

A NEW! robot! This is a true popup called RazorWind. It can do 1000+ hits (If all razors connect) and has 8 razors on a small JX.

It has a single metal hinge wedge. I have about 35kgs of spare weight left, what can I do with it?

Add a second wedge, and I'm pretty sure that's not a DSL control board on SB2.

On both, you don't need the T-connectors; you can just use two extenders to attach the weapons, like so:

Tournament Record: 94 Wins - 50 Losses
Challenge Record: 2 Wins - 2 Losses

Ah yes, I'll change the CB now. And I cannot find any room for 2 wedges, the JXes are in the way.
