I'm not entering any tourney until I can get past the 1st round. IMO, there's no point in entering if you get trashed immediately.

If there's a tourney where all the bots are godlike, there should still be losing bots no matter what. So did those builders who lost their matches waste their time because their bots lost? Of course not! There are losers' brackets for a reason, and most losses came from unlucky matchups anyway. :P

*stuff*

If you looked closely enough at some of HazCon's matches, the bots didn't remain at its grasp because of the plow. It's because of the height of the weapon setup (and occasionally the plow hindered it from scoring as well). So Nary's HazCon rebuild is actually better than InfCon's rebuild (if you base them on weapon setup alone). Also, that would've meant that true popups should've had trapping mechanisms as well. But that never caught on, probably because they're not worth it. IMO an upgraded drive is better than a trapping mechanism for gut-rippers.

But some jugglers won't look as cool without plows. D:
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)

(Image removed from quote.)

Took Nary's advice and removed the plow, making it horrifically underweight. Was testing some weight wasting methods when I got an idea as multiple NAR AI bots flied over the back of the robots weapons.
Skirt is much lighter, and LOOKS SO DAMN COOL. Titanium 1. A few extra weapons. And the back side wings got bigger for trapping purposes.

Not always plows, and extensive testing with that bot series led me to the conclusion that it is far better with the skirt than without. Although the skirt gives more room for bots to be on the weapons than HazCon, but its the same principle.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

A little, but it works fine hitting the low then jumping up to the high ones.

If you had the weight you might be able to swap the top razors for some ds teeth.
But i think it's fine atm  ;)

Razors in the middle that are the same height as the outer ones cannot do damage unless the robot is flat on top (not likely) or the outer ones are broken. Its better to have the razor higher if you are going to put it in the middle.

You can still improve your weapon setup. You could ditch those MEs on the inner razors and just replace the outer razors with Lightning teeth. Or you could replace the ME+razor setup with large beaters or irons.

Plow is so overrated as a trapping mechanism.  2x Long multiextenders are the way to go.

Not sure where to go now, after Acid Pain.  :( It's defo my best bot so far, and I can't really follow it up. I could make an equally good popup, but I've made too many of them. I just tried a rammer, and it can only beat a few of the NAR AI bots. I can't build competitive VSes or flippers, I can't build HSes at all, and I don't fell like a sawbot ATM. Any ideas?

I make flippers for fun, to use with other replicas. I can't make ones that compete with popups, HSes, VSes ect.

Improve your VS skills, they're a very fun bot type, or just try to do something new and/or experimental.

So if flippers are so boring why are you making a team of them for me? :P

VSes and nice and fun, but I think tha tit is too easy to kill them with decent front armour. Just drive right under them. Although, I could make them better in that respect...
