It's almost time for BBEANS6, so I should just start now.
Draztik:
Lightweight Juggler
Titanium I
Two Ants
246.8

Not bad IMO. No bot has gotten under it so far, but that's with DSL 2.1. I don't know how well it would do with the NAR pack.
-
not bad for a first bot. Are there TWO control boards or just one? It looks like 2 :S

One under the baseplate anchor that holds the plow.
-
took another look, realized what I thought were Control Boards were actually metal hinges XD stupid lighting! anyway, the flipper segments are not needed, and the vertically mounted anchor can be replaced with a multiextender. Use the extra weight to upgrade to Hypno's.
-
No thanks, the extender makes the wedge shorter, and the wheels will get larger. I would rather have smaller wheels that are more durable, and save 10 kgs.
Also, I edited the bot to make the weapon a notch higher and I switched to aluminum I for two razors.
-
I wouldn't really recommend 1mm Aluminum, 1mm Tite would be much better. You could use a rotated medium multi-extender and just directly attach the plow there. And assuming that you have the small control board there, you can now fit the bigger one to save one more kg. You'll probably get enough weight for another ant. :D
-
1 single angled spinner => slightly unbalanced bots
You need 3 ants as well, and i don't really see the point of the plow...
And none of the DSL 2.1 wedges are good excepted Second Sentinel, Scout and MAYBE Slashback. Definitely try NAR AI.
-
Can somebody link me a copy of Enfil3d and Hazcon for wedge testing? Thanks.
-
believe it's on the front page, hold on a sec:

You could also get it from nar AI

Far from being the best wedges here...
For best wedges, use NAR AI.
-
Alright, good. Which LWs have the best wedges?

Scout, Infection 2, DiSemboweLment (though I think this is wedgier than Infection 2 because of the small wedge), and probably some others.
-
Scout is fail anyways.
I do believe Schadenfreude has rather decent wedges as well...
-
Out-wedges Infected II, and Schadenfreude at least 75% of the time. Other than that, it pretty much out-wedges everything else all the time.
It can self-right too, but it's not a reliable way. Sometimes, since the razors are tall, it will tip Flux back to regular. Already AI'ed and more than likely my bot for BBEANS.

Seems like a mini Hazcon :D
Maybe you can use the remaining 2 kilos to change the plastic wedge skirt to AL; it will make it stronger and probably help the wedge.
-
Oh, now that I look at it, it kinda is like HazCon. I can't do anything about the armor though since somehow, bots are damaging Flux just from climbing on it. It's been knocked out like that before, even rammers that are getting gut-ripped once or twice so it's best to keep it this way tbh.
-
I really don't like how it looks too easy for a bot to fall to the side after getting ripped up on the weapon.
My suggestion would be to downgrade the armour to save some weight. Put a multi extender on the right side of the chassis, attach a poly extender with a Panic Attack skirt pointed up or at an angle. Set the weapon to spin CCW so that bots will be deflected mainly to the right. Sure, it wont look symetrical and tidy... but I think it will hold bots on your weapon for longer.
But if you are happy with it as-is... there is no stopping you from keeping it the same.

That's what you get for building a TS
