IF YOUR GAME DOESN' LOAD TRY THE FOLLOWING
1. Open your ra2.cfg and change fullscreen = 1 to 0 or vice versa if it's set to 1, save, and launch ra2

If it still doesn't load:
2. Copy and paste in the cfg from another copy of RA2. 

If you don't have any other copies, the download below is from the original DSL 2.2 release that you can try

RA2 has issues with stability when running on a modern Windows OS with the settings set to windowed.

To reduce the frequency of game crashes, right click on your RA2.exe, and set the compatibilty mode to Windows XP.

IF YOU WANT TO USE A MODERN 16:9 RESOLUTION, COPY AND PASTE THE UI FOLEDER IN THE 'WIDECREEN UI' FOLDER INTO YOUR MAIN RA2 DIRECTORY (AFTER EXTRACTING THE GAME TO ANOTHER LOCATION)

NEXT, OPEN YOUR RA2.CFG AND CHANGE THE FOLLOWING LINES TO YOUR MONITOR'S RESOLUTION

DSL 2.6 -  2/26 Change-log
- New user submitted teams
- Tread Motors have been updated to prevent AGOD and now weigh the same as their regular counterparts
- Locked NPC motors have been added for treads
- Treads have been given a grip buff
- Batteries now have a set HP amount to offset battery damage
- All chassis armors has been made stronger, with a fixed ration of 150hp/kg (roughly a ~20% increase for Ti 10, and ~40% for Plastic 10)
- IRL bar descriptions have been fixed
- NPC motors have a new updated model
- Slow pnuematics now fire slightly faster
- Updated models and skins for mini wheels
- New 35kg mini beta hammer head
- Blank pierlli wheels have been added
- Hot pink 30cm extenders no longer show up as teal
- Reverse BSG weight has been fixed
- 72V 4-mag motors have had their torque slightly increased

- Square polycarb and angled exteder have been added, as have the rest of Rob's colored parts under new stlyes menus
- Weapon Changes: 
	- Large Mechavore and Minion discs have had their normals nerfed, and their DP slightly lowered
	- Microvores, Dreadnoughts, and Mini Minion discs now have updated normals similar to the above, frequency, and slightly reduced DP
	- Flat teeth have had their DP slightly reduced to compensate for their superior normals
	- Colored Frenzy hammers now have their correct stat
	- A few other small changes




2.4 Read-Me
DSL-IRL has a patch pre-installed to make unstable parts more stable without changing the mesh. This is done by increasing the weight of said parts. A few parts such as the shark/matilida teeth and axle extenders also now have a more stable collision mesh (some parts like the antenna and led lights have both a weight increase and mesh due to a variety of factors). HP was also adjust accordingly for parts like the 10cms, wedge edges, and angled wedge corners

To compensate for the weight increase, spin motors, bursts, pistons, and batteries were all made lighter by varying amounts compared to base 2.2

A few notes on things that can't be fixed/weren't updated

- Motors/Skirt hinges are still going to cause havoks when they fall off
- Having more than two robots in the arena (rumbles) makes the game more unstable
- A few borderline parts that are almost never used
- RA2 being almost 20 years old and naturally being unstable
