Title: What's your screen size?
Post by: Vincent on February 08, 2006, 07:42:38 PM
Ok... my duty as a graphic artist behind DSL2 development... I need to know.

RA2 has 4 different sizes...
...and I might need to get rid of the smallest one to have everything fit in.

you don't have to post it here... a vote would help.

I just hoping no one uses 640 x 480

99% will have 800x600 or 1024x768 with 99% of those being 1024x768.

how come they cant just resize their screen?
seems easy enough you cant cater to everyones needs
anyone who uses 640x480 cant play this game anyway
if you graphics card or moniter is that bad they have no chance because with the first release my game would lag with my old rig and  mine was fairly new so just screw the 640x480 people

i ran in that mode for quite a while until my old card burned out from o/c it so much
i dont think it will matter that much what resolution you do it at will it i would think it would automatically resize

not everything is resized... and few more things won't be resized in DSL2 as well.

I really find it hard to believe alot of comps cant play maxed. my computer is only 64 meg vid card. but i think it has to do with actual ram, as i have a gig of rdram. and i'm max res as well with like 600 fps lol

mine lags with 800X600, but 640X480 is so small i put up with the lag. better than getting hit and not being able to see the AI that did it, or having the whole screen taken up by your own robot

Well I need help...my new screen size is 1680x1050 and RA2 looks real bad. Everybody needs to go get a big wide screen so somebody will find a fix.

Have you tried to reduce your desktop resolution and then go into the game and chage resolution from there again?

Or of course you could setup your screen physical height and width from your monitor's buttons.

easy to fix:

go on your screen configuration (on your monitor) and choose the option to be like a normal screen (not widescreen or panoramic). you should find this there or just use NVIDIA display manager to fix it.
