stop hosting rumbles

tldr: the slots for selecting robots get progressively more unstable and there's nothing we can do to fix them. it's not actually the amount of robots in the arena that's causing the issues like we thought

even larger and heavier items like wheels aren't stable in the last slot

The fact that they're basically just a coinflip of who gets ganged up on should be reason enough to stop doing rumbles, let alone the fact they make the game sh** itself on top of that.

Reier:
i highly doubt ra2 freezes the physics in menus. its like the bots are still being simulated even when you can't see them. you can hear the motors moving when you press the controls of the bot when out of the bot lab and you can see it when you press f12.
almost sometimes feels like every click of a menu button plays the simulation a little further without you being aware of it and it's basically some nasty butterfly effect when you actually get in a match. like its almost like the last slots are more unstable because it progressively checks each slot and simulates the physics each time a tiny bit until its super messed up

Y’all should host a Dimmarumble at mah patented Doug Dimmadome’s Dimsdale Dimmadome
