I'd really love to be able to use Rex Garrod's robots Cassius and Cassius 2... or even Cassius 3, if anyone's got the photographs of it which have since disappeared. My building skills aren't much, so I wondered if anybody else has made a tribute to it?

I was planning to do Cassius at some point. If you really want, I could bump it up to the top of my list of projects. Would a stock version be ok?

That's the bot- what a beauty! I was just looking at videos of it on Youtube and missed it. I'd hate to interrupt anybody's creative flow, if there might be a Cassius bot soon then I'd love to see it, but don't alter your plans on my account :)

I apologise for the confusion, by the way- I should have mentioned that Cassius only ever competed in the UK series of Robot Wars.

Don't worry about it, my "list" doesn't actually have an order to it, it's more like a bunch of ides floating around, and I do whichever one seems appealing at the time. At any rate, it's finished!

Extract this to your Robot Arena 2 folder
CAUTION: If you already have a robot named Cassius, rename it or this will overwrite it.

I've met Rex Garrod on a number of times!
I did have a replica of Cassius, but i lost it due to computer problems.
I have a picture of Cassius 3 somewhere, i might give it a try of thats ok, but it'll have to be DSL im affraid...

Blimey! Thank you very much for making and sharing that- looks great! I use DSL, so I might have an easier time now I've got the great Cassius on-side.

If you could find those photos ov Cassius 3 I'd appreciate it- I've forgotten what it looked like. I think Cassius 2 was mostly opaque polycarbonate- quite different from the original. As for 3, I don't remember at all...

Now to avoid driving it straight into a pit against Mortis...

Did it? I seem to remember Cassius 2 crashing out at an early stage because Rex wasn't paying attention... I was heartbroken!

I was being sarcastic. It went into the pit on its side and couldn't use its spike to pop back out.
