Welcome back. I wouldn't know who you are tho :P.Anyway, you have A LOT to catch up on. Nowadays, we don't really use servos even. We use the blue snapper lol.
I was under the impression mounting a Ztek on a servo made it spin faster? Or was that my silly teenage mind being silly?
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything
Welcome back. Lot's to catch up on.Maybe browse some people's showcases to see what building is like these days.Quote from: Hi5er on June 12, 2016, 05:29:37 PMI was under the impression mounting a Ztek on a servo made it spin faster? Thank you!Squirrel monkey... Now there's a name I think I remember? Could be wrong...
I will be doing that over the next few days for sure. Servo glitching is so easy tho haha, I hope the snapper mounting is just as easy... I'll have a read up on it. My crowning achievement on here was stacking 2 supervolts on top of each other in my first week which was "impressive for someone so new" I believe... Hopefully I can replicate that here.
Lots has changed since 2010 then? Any upcoming tournaments this year or is the attention turning to RA3 now?

Since it seems relevant and (somewhat) necessary, I'll try to compile a list of stuff that's changed. Servos are mostly to completely irrelevant.Snapper IIs are seen on almost every stock bot that is MW or higher (and even some LW HSes).Supervolt stacking is nothing short of NECESSARY on MW or higher bots that aren't HSes.Rupt flippers, VSes, Hammers (though less so nowadays), and Rammers are hardly ever seen.36HSes are pretty much the only relevant HW HSes nowadays.A new mod, Ironforge, has become a third relevant modpack for tournaments.Go ahead and tell me what I've missed personally.
DSL-IRL is the libtard’s meta. Go drink more soylent, retard! #BLUELIVESMATTER
stock dieddsl 2.2 was also released. it's pretty much DSL-3 with backwards compatibilty with 2.1.

Quote from: Hi5er on June 12, 2016, 05:39:30 PMLots has changed since 2010 then? Any upcoming tournaments this year or is the attention turning to RA3 now?Nothing is ever really 'upcoming' because anyone can host a tournament at any time. If you wanna see what tournaments are in the works, currently accepting entrants/in sign-ups or are already underway, have a look at the Tournament section and see for yourself. I don't know who was the tournament mod back in 2010 but, if you have any more questions in that area, feel free to ask me.Attention is definitely not turning to RA3 due to the state it's in, so I'd say it's a safe bet to focus on your RA2 building skills for RA2 tournaments :P
I believe I joined in 2009 so I must have been just starting up back then. Would have been like 13 or something. Takes me back.
Sup Hi5er. Welcome back.
Are you the bigger brother of ty4er?
Howdy dude!
