Now there's a face I really do remember! Cheers man, you helped me out a lot back in the day on my old showcase (and you dug my paint jobs from what I recall... Hopefully I can continue to impress )

Oh hey.  I remember seeing your name during my lurking days.  Nice to see you back man.

Thanks buddy! I look forward to losing to you soon haha

Haha - good to know!

I'm working on a few bots at the moment so I'll start up a showcase again soon I think. I've never made a bot with a drum style spinner (this is all in stock by the way) so I'm giving it a go. The biggest obstacle appears to be the weight limit at the moment haha

Mounting the "drum" on a snapper or servo also creates some pretty crazy stability issues, when I fired up the weapon the force of it actually flipped my robot clean over like 3 times out of 5 in my testing (even at the 800kg weight limit) so I think i'm just going to have to opt for a base plate extender.

Are drum weapons even viable/effective? I haven't seen one before in stock.

Static setup is definitely the way to go.

So an old member comes back, and he's a stock builder, if you need help with the new stock building meta, i guess i can help since stock is the one mod where i'm decently good at, although MR.AS and Sage notably are far better than me.

Is that good haha?

Any advice would be appreciated mate, a lot of new things to learn I gather! If you could drop by my showcase every now and again and post your thoughts and insight it would definitely be welcome.
