Do you use that little-known and often-overlooked component called 'Powered Steering Unit'?

I find myself using the Powered Steering Unit more and more, half of my expiramental designs use this thing. I find it gives previously uncontrollable skid-steer bots with high-end motors the manners of a caddilac when turning, and acually keeps them controllable, all while enabling me to build designs that cannot get stuck. I'm curious as to how many of you acually use this thing or if you just play with the wiring to get a bot controllable
Wanting to build a bot, but cant plot that chassis? PM me and I\'ll build you a chassis. All I need from you is the desired weapon type, desired weight class, invertable(yes/no), and how many wheels you want. limit 4 wheels min on MW/HW

When I started playing RA (stock) i used it when I was learning the game.  DSL doesnt have the power streering part tho.  I think DSL 2 should bring it back.  I tryed making a powered streeing using servos and axel but the game engine couldnt handle it.

P.S. RED WINGS JUST WON GAME ONE OF THE PLAYOFFS IN DOUBLE OVERTIME!!!

Lol, my version is jerry-rigged together since the entire thing wouldnt work, so I still have access to stock parts. My last 7 prototypes, minus the lowrider, are all steered by it and all handle exceptionally well and dont lose any turning radius.  :D donuts, baby!!

My first bot was powered by red birds, but then switched to the powered steering unit. But the downside is that my bot sucked.

I don't have any serious bots that use it, but the powered steering unit WILL be a stock part in DSL 2.0 to appease the Powered Steering Cult.

I haven't used it very much in the past, but chances are, after reading this, I'll make at least one powered steering bot.

I tested it few times when I had stock RA2 but when DSL came I forgot it and didn't use because I didn't want to "cheat" because then I would had to edit text files and what isn't in the game already that is cheating. Kinda.

But no I don't use it now.

I sometimes use them, but I usually have at least 2 for tighter turning.

Different wheels probably affect how tight you can turn.  So does the bot's weight.
