Yes, it quite clearly is possible to create several new AI teams. I have currently 114 in my mod.

I think he wants harder opponents. I would suggest downloading NAR AI 2.3. Most of the opponents in there should give you a decent fight.

a conversion mod for Robot Arena 2, it changes everything, the look, components, AI robots, etc

it is suggested you download it as a standalone separate copy rather then installing it over your normal RA2.
