AXI brushless and phasor
« on: April 01, 2006, 11:08:40 AM »
Ok, now this would be cool. If you could replicate an outrunner brushless motor for an ant/beetle. an outrunner is a brushless motor that actualy has the back part spin with the shaft, also know as the external rotor brushless. the best outrunner motor is the AXI, they can be found here

I'm guessing the pictures kind of describe how they work, this would be an awesome ant/beetle weapon motor.

another weapon motor is the mother of all beetle motors the "Jeti Phasor"
it's an inrunner with a lot of torque and speed, info is here.

These motors have to be good. The axi has TONS of torque and fairly good speed. The Phasor has LOTS of speed and LOTS of torque.

Just some suggestions to your growing line of antweight parts.
HI! I AM a beta tester! :P
