Agree with the rest. Some Chassis may not be too easy to create though.

yeah I know but I love that one. After having nothing heard about Robot Wars for 7 years (time from when it was taken off TV since I get internet + the time I discovered youtube + RW videos) I still remembered  it`s name.

I'd personally like Robopig to be in it, since it was so amusing (and from the town next to mine - it's a rarity to have robots from around here when I'm in the middle of the countryside)

I dont know how "open" the RW GMF is from memory.. If it is layed out how I think it is, I might be able to use a large portion of it to create the series 3 arena

@ Craaig: I think we will use every replica we can get. If it`s not so good we ceep it until someone else will do a better one.

What we need if we're actually going to do this is
-Reps (obviously)
-The arena
-Possible new UI?
-Someone/people to AI

And will it be based on DSL or Stock?

DSL would be easier IMO. Balancing custom components would make it different from DSL. But aye, we should do it.

N.B. Should we steal the Chaos 2 rep from DSL?

I guess we could. However, we'll need to make it faster and give it a stronger burst motor so it can actually flip stuff, in my opinion.

yeah its a very simple BFE job to fix up that burst

Define 'open'

enough additional objects and rigidbody parts for me to remove, edit and recycle for other aspects of the arena, not all self contained like some other arenas.

I know a few objects are different, but the more its broken up the the more likely I will be to transform it into the series 3 arena

erm... I guess.. Mod you be entire rebalanced parts.. unless your doing that we are only adding in some custom stuff that is unbalanced intentionally to give them a better chance.

copy the original text file Chaos 2 uses....

rename it something new like chaos2burst.txt

open it up and change the power values of the text

open up chaos 2 in Notepad++

change the original burst's filename to chaos2burst.txt

since its the same GMF model and wil look the same is wont effect anything

Or just change it to juj_motor, the motor click was intending for it to have in the first place.
