I think we should make a list of people who can host. I cant host because mine behind a router and im far from my modem.
-
I might be able to host, i'm not sure though. It might take some trial and error.
-
Mean2U can host but he isn't very often on the right mood to play the game. :(
-
Because you and your band of tuba solosits keep pestering me when I'm eating moldy bread.
Edit by CB :P This isn't RFSHQ
-
Call it what you want. There is a time for that and then theres time for me ripping your bot apart. I hate playing lan with my bro because he is super new and didnt have a clue the diffrent between the e-teck and the mag moters.

I'm not sure can I now host a game but if I can, those won't be nothing XZZZOOMMMGGGOOODDD!!!! MILLION PLAYERS IN SAME GAME!!! -games. I think I can handle somewhat 1 vs. 1 battles only. Because I have 512/512 ADSL and everybody live in America, so the ping is in its best for me around 80-100 ms. So that smaller delay I can't give you plus the game is quite heavy for network so the delay quite surely will rise to 200 or so.
Edit: Okay I can host, I tested it yesterday with ham, but loading is still bit problematic, but at least I can host a game. Playing isn't tested yet because ham crashed or stucked or something...

I can host.
I have a 512 (at least) mb cable connection that has a faster upload speed than download speed.
-
Holly crap, Dino, you're still arround?! I wish everybody would just start playing the game again. Meh, i'll try to get some of my friends to play the game and join these forums.

GIMME YOUR MSN ADDRESS I WANNA PLAY 2vs2 MATCHES WHEN THERE ISN'T ANY LAG AT ALL!!!!
512mb is vuuucking badass bandwith. I have only 512/512 kbps.

yeah, I left, then came back, then left again and now i'm back, hopefully for a while. It'd be great to see everybody come back.

Just to jump on the bandwagon of old ppl posting, I don't think I can host as I'm behind a router.
and to answer other questions....
I drop by every once in a while -- mainly to check on the sneak peaks. After all, this is one of the remaining driving forces behind one of my favorite games. (as well as the only game I've written an FAQ for)
I was busy playing Battlefield 2 for a while, so that took up most of my gaming time.
There was a brief moment of revivied interest when I leant out the CD to a friend (I own both the CD and download versions of the game), who had that graphics problem.
Haven't made anything really new for DSL, tho -- since my friend can't play DSL
-
I can host, but you have to go through my Ip Address
CB: Don't post your IP address on forums, not if you don't mind hackers finding out what it is.
I don't play DSL, only stock(i have like 512Kb connection)
I have MSN, and it's ZeroAbsolute232@hotmail.com

Oh sh** did I say mbs. lol, I meant kbs...I think it's more though, it's a cable connection...so I'd assume it's prolly 700-800 (it's pretty freaking fast [if you live in the same state there is usualy no lag at all]) I can host Halo games with people barley getting lag.
I'd reccomend you live in NY, but I'd be willing to give it a try...my MSN is dinovenger(at)earthlink(dot)net

Lol I thought so too. That would be liiiittle bit too fast...
