Gyrosphere

Armer:Steel
Weapon:4 saw blades
Weakness: Horizontaly spinning weapons
Description: Gyrosphere has four saw blades
(2 smaller blades on the outside and 2 larger ones on the inside)
In the shape of a sphere. It hovers around the arena and rips through anything in it's path.

Custom parts are the beltdrives if you can't see them ( For the saws).

Only changes are that the weapons are discs. I like the way the other one looks but this one is definitely stronger.

Exuse me, I have to oil my eyes.

I've rolled them to much...

It's all there... Inside picture, weight, no saws and a picture of the bot. This robot isn't meant to be an incredible fighter but I thought I would just start out with it here so that I could get some actual feedback, thank you Doom. Being a Member of this site for such a long time you would probably know that it's pretty annoying when people post random comments that don't have any purpose. So if you could take this a little bit more seriously that would be great.

Since you use custom unbalanced parts you might get a little more criticism than usual.

... And do NOT use ballasts.

custom showcase generally isnt the place for building feedback more just .. well a showcase .. to show off your designs.

legal Stock and legal DSL are the best ways to get building advice

A really good peice of advice is to not listen to Triton right now, he's acting weird telling people that they shuld be generic and stuff...

A really good peice of advice is to not listen to Triton right now, he's acting weird telling people that they shuld be generic and stuff... Infact, never listen to him, he's a heartless imaganitive creep.
yeah, don't listen to triton, he loves to break you down and get a reaction, your best bet is pretend he's not there. As for the bot, I like it, and can you post pics of the Custom Components?

EDIT: sorry Triton, it's hard to understand sarcasm on here

Wow real mature. I find it ironic that all of a sudden I'm now the enemy. It's obvious that none of you can take a joke seriously. If all you want to do is flame me, go right ahead.

And Sparkey, making up lies about one is one way to prove that you're just here to flame people. When you turned around, I thought that we could become friends, but apparently I was wrong.

I was making a joke Sparkey, you ought think about things before you post.

sorry, sarcasm does not work on here. And why would you want to be friends with me? seems like you hate me, and I'm not on here just to flame. There is a lot of people who I don't flame, 'cause there nice to me, I want to be friends, too. Sorry.

Your guilty of it your self Sparky.
QFT.

Spark, since you've been complaining so long about 'being' flamed, why would you start 'doing' it yourself?  I wouldn't even joke like this, if I were you... at least for a while.

-------

Saint, I'd like to see some of your 'custom parts'...

My post was sarcastic, I'm sorry TriTon that all these guys are insulting you. but apparently they can't understand the simplified version. "stick to the topic" This isn't a post where you insult each. If you would like to tell me stuff like that send me a message so that you don't insult anyone.

So if you guys could forget about that and stop filling my showcase up with insults that would be appreciated.
I was not broken down at all he only said sarcastically that he's a moron, I do not see how that is a insult.

So once again stick to the topic don't post anything that doesn't have anything to do with my bots .

I do not mean to offend anyone, if I do it's normaly sarcastic and should not be taken seriously.

communication is made up of 93% body language, internet forums lack the ability to use body language therefor "moods" of posts are actually how others read it.... unless you specify something to make them think otherwise such as [/sarcasm]

anyway on topic, is the Lu-Tze belt drives the only custom stuff on this robot besides the hover engine ?

*sees v2*

Better, but try to use up more of the weight allowed. HW can go up to 800 kgs, so maybe make the chassis bigger, put more motors in and amp up the weapons. You would then probably need a secong Hovercraft motor ( cause of how heavy you would be ) but you should be smashing high in no time :)

Sometimes you need to make generic killers first to be able to be creative killers.

Saint: System32's and Sparkey's advice can be a bit off at times, look out....

Tell Pwn that. or STW. Pretty much the reverse of generic to creative.

And anyone's advice is off at times.

Back on topic, and I apologize Tri, you just seemed to be spamming advice with *add a wedge durr*.

Have you seen the first page of Pwn's showcase?  A generic poker, a generic popup, and a generic 36HS. The best way to learn the ropes is to try deigns already done before and compare them to see what you can do better. Reverse engineering and trying to make the original even better is a very interesting challenge in itself.

Fine, STW only then. You can't deny that, he's becoming a little more generic...

Ok thanks for the advice I will try and make a more weight efficient version. yes belt drives are the only custom part although I do have a version that has blades that hit like 70000 points worth of damage ( not really that fun though) thanks for the I have taken the Ballasts off. By no time I might be a pretty decent builder

Generic == Win, if my bots are getting more generic, it means they are winning more often.  Personally I did some cloning myself.  Between Pyrotechnic remake and Mammoth downsized, the only good bot that I will claim originality would be my SnS.  While I do have a few more original designs, they just doesn't pack the same kinds of kill power.

And if you can build exactly like Naryar, then you ARE Naryar, or at least just a different screen name isn't enough to prove you are not.
