I'm away from the replicas thread for a few weeks, and look what happens.  3 pages of ragetoon-ing, and Stagfish captured Missigno!  I can't leave you guys by yourselves for a second, can I?

Well, here's a long overdue replica from me, Conquering Clown.  I'll probably be entering the UK vs USA tourney with it:

Thanks everyone, this one was a lto fo work, glad it's so well-liked :)

The head is made completely of DSL discs; thanks to Sage's tutorial I know how to duplicate components.  I used mediums for the afro, and a small for the face.  The head is on a 90-degree hinge so that it bobbles whenever the clown hits something.  The butterfly is made of two half-hexplates on a multiextender; those things are a replica builder's best firend.

Finished !

6 ants, 5mm Ti, Perm 132, NPC fasts, Cobra wheels, x2 80cm DSL bars. Plenty of stacked discs (i think there's 8 in total on the weapon). Realistic with enough cutting and welding.

As you can see it's a BFE fest - all the panels are on Medium discs. Also, fun fact, the wheels are inverted - the right wheel is attached to the left motor an the left wheel is attached to the right motor so i have a flat outside, like the bot.

I might change the weapon to (darkened) 10kg beater bars since it fails right now.

Now just to know if it can be accepted in that UK vs USA tournament...

What are the wheels on it? S3?

Judging by it, yes, it is allowed. And that is a very good replica btw.
