Thanks man! Great question, to go through all of them? hmm well;

Radioactive - The weapon is actually capable of doing damage so arguably it's better than IRL but chunks of the drive pods disintegrate into dust if a spinner so happens to even look at them.

Tentomushi - The shell sometimes doesn't retract when it's down which turns into a weaponless bot but the smothering works great, it would make a great house robot for lightweight fights.

Chomp - It doesn't flop around as much as the real version and of course flamethrowers are a little bit OP in RA2. But otherwise is really spot on, the self righting in particular!

Brutus - The spinner vastly underpeforms atm and no projectiles.

Invader - Very difficult to control, it spends a lot of time ricochet-ing off the walls (just like the real version).

Lockjaw - Surprisingly one of the most effective bots, can score OOTA's too.

Tombstone - Not quite as dominating as the real thing but still a powerful spinner.

Icewave - Great when it works, it has a slight problem in that if it hits something that doesn't immediately break off then it spins onto its back (similar to its fight with Ghost Raptor irl).

Cobalt - The spinner is well balanced so it's pretty much a smaller Tombstone.

Splatter - The lifter acts more like a flipper and because of that the spinner barely ever touches an opponent.

Disk O'Inferno - Doesn't turn very well but otherwise great. The spinner needs buffing a bit though.

Sabretooth Cat Ghost Raptor - The spinner end breaks fairly easily if it hits another weapon. Like the real version, the lifter is the better weapon.

Witch Doctor - Pretty realistic, sends the horizontal spinners flying on contact although the armour is a little bit thin and it can't really self right.

Shaman - The gutsy minibot it was born to be!

Of course they will struggle against most well built DSL bots of the same weight class, I haven't tried them against HereticBlue's Robot Wars Mod bots yet.

Yeah pretty much, a smaller drum with a larger one attached over the top of it, then used the attach point of the larger drum to make the tooth and covered the small drum in extenders to hide the big drum!

- Beta, Black Ice & Captain 'Murica! Shrederator

Beta is currently the lightest replicas I've made so far at 1286.6 in-game weight and the only custom parts I've used are for the drive motors so it might be fairly easy to convert him into DSL 2.2, which means I could very well be able to throw him onto the bot exchange in the near future!

Shrederator isn't too bad load time-wise, or at least I've never noticed it take longer than usual.

It's funny you should mention Nightmare, bit of tragic story here;

- This was Nightmare MK4, which after a few arguments with the "Cannot Exceed Maximum Bot Size" message, was soon to be final version of my attempt at getting this thing built. I even left part of the base chassis exposed so I could skin the logo on...

- This is Nightmare MK4 after the "Cannot Exceed Maximum Bot Size" message and the Rule Of 7 police took their revenge while I was distracted taking screenshots.

How long have you been lurking?
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

How long have you been lurking?

I found this site back when a guy (I think he was called Wham) was making a Robot Wars Mod, so a good while. I haven't had any time to play RA2 in years but checked back here every now and then. Time off work and Component Freedom have gotten me back into it!

holly hell. it looks amazing! :o

It's a sensitive subject! Nightmare is definitely on the back burner for a while lol.
