We already have a mortis rep for the series 3 mod... it is in the showcase.

Yeah, I did the Series 2 one. Just 'cause I hadn't tried a rep before.

Explosion:

First draft of my replica wars 2 entry.
Can we send custom skinned parts? It would look so much better warning stripes on the flipper

Yes. Scrap and Pwn did it for RW1 so I'm allowing for RW2.

And in terms of combat effectiveness, should go far. That flipper is more effective then a couple of the flippers in RW1, actually.

I'm still thinking of something to enter. I mean, I'm more used to building heavyweight reps, but I've got a Number Three seed title that needs defending!

As the host, I don;t want to try to win, but I want to make something new. if I don't, then expect The Aggressive Polygon to enter and fail.

OK then. But I'm entering (And hopefully winning) by fair means or foul.

OK then...maybe not to the extent of the "Dick Dastardly Stops to Cheat" trope-

im considering replicating Infamous 4 (my fun ant nearing completion) or a robot I am drawing up CAD diagrams for and eventually build with some help from zipdragon :gawe:

though a put off is if people have robots that just use the judge burst for everything or wedge components when they dont have wedge components

Sounds good, Joe. Although from what I recall, in the last Replica Wars, I was the only one who used a Judge Burst, but even still, I checked if it was alright to do so before I put it in. And even still, I don't think we'll be seeing it in this next tourney, because of the massive Havok Explosions it can cause on a LW  :approve:

people used it on everything in UK vs USA, if I redid the sign ups I would have outlawed it.

also the wedge component on Cassius 2.. I didn't like, sorry... but the real one doesnt have it

Oh OK then. But then again, I think only a few had success with it anyway, and I would consider it one of the best components to use for replica flippers.
And the wedge component? Well, that was only there to help Cassius II get underneath stuff. I was also a bit pressed for time whilst making it, so I just applied it quickly and hoped for the best. I didn't like how it looked either, but mind you, it did perform better than I expected.

I'm not sure which robot to make for RW2. Storm II, Overkill GTI, or Jackson Wallop?

I'd suggest Overkill GTI. There's something about it that I liked.

As long as it's a LW. Don't forget that you guys have 3 months before signups start XP

well I finished my 4th ever replica  :gawe:

my (incomplete) Antweight, Infamous 4

the inside pics you see isnt actually the inside pics... if the shell is removed thats what you see just like the real one, the real robot has a copper pole out the top of the robot, its not as large as the motor but thats why its skinned like that.

real pic... well of the shell...

Sick. Too bad it's not legal for RW2. Will it be in Backlash?

most likely.. I need to add some attachment points to the shell and make some custom blades

why isnt it legal for RW2 ? it will open in any copy of DSL at this current stage
