And they work in different ways. Wham does custom components. Sonny is inventive with what he has.

You should BFE medium drum parts to make the round sides.

Actually BFE wont be needed, just place a multiextender and the drum parts to that.

How do I get the patterns & writing onto the drums?  And how do I do the corners?

Thats the downside, you cant, unless you make new components of the drum pieces each with different skin, but the corners, no idea...

Wham is as good as Sonny because both make great looking replicas, albeit with different methods. Sonny is god though because he makes more. Case closed.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Here's The Termite:

This one picture was all I had to work with, so I really don't know what it's supposed to look like at any other angle, nor if it had a weapon at the back

Better than GK since 2009.

I don't know if the hexplates actually do damage, but the smallest sawblade was too big, so I had to use those

Nice rep, Sonny and yeah it did have some weirdly shaped spikes at the back and on top. You might be able to find a better picture of it in Robotica when it competed as The Tick.

I would say to make the hexplates look more like sawblades, if possible, try to attach the flat part of a second on to the flat part of the first one, but angled so that it looks like a disc with twice the points. If possible...
