Firestorm from Series 3. I originaly wanted to enter the second Robot Wars tournament with that but the fronthinged flipper doesnt work that well in RA2.

Now I`m replicating Spwan Again. The flipper I made looks great I think.

edit: Diotoirfur for S_M

I know my robots well ;D
And thanks muchly :P

EDIT: The formatting on this board really annoys me sometimes XD

cool, fun fact there will be a tuna can team in Backlash  :gawe:

also if you have formatting trouble highlight the problematic stuff and click the button on the far right that is an A with an arrow pointing to a smaller A and it will fix everything (except it will remove links so be wary)

-------------------------------

Nice job Thyrus, using beater bars for the flipper is a good idea... a flipper that gets points for once :P

I used them cause Firestorms flipper was square not round. The points were only the second point why I choose them.
But thanks (:

You could use flipper segments for the lower section.
Better than GK since 2009.

Looks pretty awesome Thy.
I was always wondering about those odd black panels, and when I did find out they were conveyor belts... I had my doubts on their effectiveness :P

@SM: It wouldn't do damage. And beater bars are the right thickness.

I meant just for the wider part at the bottom.

It wouldn`t change that much cause the angle of the flippermotor couldn`t be more in the frot of the chassis. the only way it could work is to use the flippermotor of wham.

edit:

@Craaig: I was thinking about adding wheels instead of painting the belts on the chassis but I think they would be useless.

Oh, OK. Although I just meant for you to use flipper segments to improve the looks.

Only things I can think of to improve are the skins (eg more stripes on Roadblocks top, name on RB's side, more dots on Diotior)
But I do like the way you've done Diotior.

there`s a skinnpack that includes Diotoirs fur if you want to use that. Look at the top right picture of firestorm.

You probably thought I was kidding around when I mentioned building a replica of The Predator in the "Death" thread.  But I really did want to do this before I died, so...

Shorter chassis, use a Perm for the weapon motor, and add small beater bars to the drum. :P
