Baseplate anchors actually create space in between the ground and the wedgelets.
The little cube anchors work best for wedgelets.

now that i noticed it those "ramps" aren't skirts at all, but more like two long extenders with wedge at the end.

I made a gyrobot replica, it's pretty broken tho because it's got 10 beaters. Unlike the real thing it spins up so it's unrealistic
