Fairly decent Destructive Criticism replica
Unnecessary harshness
Bit about DSL2 is true
Don’t totally trash him like that, he’s only been on here for a couple of days now.
Anyways Ant that’s actually quite good for a newcomer! Skin job is on point
Look, I'm not being a dick. I'm putting forward a fair point on why the replica isn't that good, what could be done to improve the replica, and some word of thought on building in DSL.

Also, newcomer? He is, but he has been posting replicas on the Unofficial Robot Arena 2 Facebook group for months. He had all the time to gather some feedback to improve his designs and replicas, but with the lack of feedback, it would been nice to give some feedback on how to improve his replica building skills. But yeah, I shouldn't of written my post like that so I'm sorry for the trouble that I've created.

First of all, it's a very decent attempt, especially for a newcomer to GTM (my opinion for what it's worth)
Dark, please stop trying to be edgy.
There is a line between giving advice and saying what is good/isn't good, then there is totally trashing the person.
Cut it out.

This isn't just Dark, it's people that bash others and their work that makes others leave or hate GTM, and for what? Because a skin wasn't perfect, c'mon seriously. There's no reason to be insulting, if it was bad in anyway I would still have the same opinion. It's stupid things like this that make the community suck as a whole. Again, cut it out.

In truth, I was never trashing the skin, only pointing out on how the build is inaccurate and giving some tips on how to improve the replica.  I never intended to be harsh around the builder in the first place. It was how I worded my post that made it seem like I was right off the bat: trashing, insulting the builder, when I shouldn't of done. I should of never of written my op that made seem like I was being so harsh in the first place. So, let's just end it here.

Winner's high anyone?

Anyway, this bot is going up on the BotExchange, like all my other replicas of this year.

Here's the most effective Toro replica you'll ever see. Capable of tossing SHWs in RA2 around like the real Toro did to real-life SHWs, this flipper uses a series of thrusters to stabilize and boost his flipping power without havoking, flying out of control, or having to add extra invisible flippers.

*Cough, RWRA2, cough*

He'll be seen in DSL along with some other robots I ripped and revamped from the BBAU modpack.

Here's Wrecks - it works more or less like the real thing.  It has two drive wheels for forward, but it doesn't have any turning apart from the "legs" that are attached to a car-steering motor to tilt the body from side to side.

How I did it, here's a shot of the car-steering motor made visible.

I've made Matilda before, but upon seeing a Matilda shell component in the RW AI pack, I just HAD to use it.
So, after a bunch of hacking, here's the new matilda:

Sadly, I lost the robot when my old computer died.

You can still find a similar Matilda replica through the Robot Wars mod for Robot Arena 2. Just look into the downloads section, specifically the "Complete game" section and download the Robot Wars+ mod.

After that, just copy-past it over a fresh copy of stock.
