Title: AWGaming's replicas & self-designed bots. (RWRA2)
Post by: AWGaming on June 29, 2019, 02:34:57 AM
So, I previously made this forum in the DSL TC section... for some reason..... so I have made a new showcase in the Custom Components section, here.
Let's start off with a middleweight robot that I made yesterday. This is Destructor.

This is probably my favorite middleweight robot that I have ever created on RA2. It has a ram plate which is on an extender attached to a Thor Axe Burst Motor so the ram plate can be used as a flipper.
Taking a look at the inside,

As you can see, I have used Ant wheels. Each wheel is connected to a HW Drive. At first, the bot was too fast, so I added a 40kg ballast at the back of the bot.

Great bot considering RWRA2's limitations but I would definitely still download the IRL packs, they have the potential to make builds so much nicer.

Here's another bot that I have come up with myself. This is a heavyweight. It's called Hazard.

This bot is made of titanium. It has a HUGE axe on the top and two claws at the front. The axe is powered by a Thor Axe Burst Motor. The two sawblades at the top of the axe spin when the weapon activation button is pressed. They are not powered by a switch either, so holding the weapon activation button will cause both sawblades to spin.

Looking inside, I have used 2 HW Drives and 2 N-12 wheels. The claws are static, but they do get damage points. I have used a red IRL Aluminium wedge at the front as a kind of... tongue, used for getting underneath other robots.

Ngl I like how unique this bot looks, would be nice to see a DSL version and see it compete in a tourney

It would be good entering it in a tournament, I might try that actually.

Here's another Heavyweight robot that I have came up with my self. This is DangerZone.

It is all made out of titanium (apart from the extenders, which are aluminium.)
It has 2 discs and they are powered by a Perm 132 80cm motor. The drives are 2 TWM3R drives with 2 mini wheels attached to them you can't see them on the picture as they are inner wheels)
Ok, enough of me rambling.

The bot looks sick imo but I reckon it would do better having two or one flatmotors for the discs instead of a perm, considering there are flatmotors in RWRA2. Replace extra weight with better armor or stronger weapons.

I don't think it's that good.
