Very nice. Are you planning on entering any IRL tournaments? Your bots would make a great addition to any tournament I'm sure.

Oh thanks man, would these even count as IRL though? I'm not 100% sure what the rulings are for these kind of things. Completely off topic Badger but I've just now realised the badger in your avatar isn't wearing a hard hat like I'd previously thought... :/

Effectively in IRL, your robot has to be made as if it could be completely done in real life, so motors having supports, no weapon spam, cool looks, no motor/weapon intersection and all of that.

It'd be a great honour to see you enter tournaments, as your robots are, for lack of a better term, ****ing awesome.

To quote the building style page...
3) IRL (Most popular in: DSL, Ironforge)
Everything done has to be possible in real life, right down to weapon supports for axles.
Often subjective, and BFE etc is often allowed if it helps the realism of the robot.
Examples
Lemonism (DSL)

This intricate IRL Dustpan is entirely possible in real life - note the support rig for the dustpan arm, motor and axle.
Craaig (Ironforge)

This IRL Ironforge Flipper is also entirely possible in real life, showing how extender frames can be used to great visual effect.
I have several opinions.

Of course, you're free to do whatever you want. You could event try to build robot that kill, but aren't as realistic. Or you can keep building the best extenderbots on the site. Or do everything.

Just posting an updated replica compilation because I'm nearly halfway through this little project and quite a bit has changed since the first one I posted.

ROW 1: Tombstone x2, Stinger x2, Son Of Whyachi, Bite Force, Chomp, Captain Shrederator.
ROW 2: Witch Doctor & Shaman, Hypershock, Icewave, Beta, Cobalt, Brutus, Lockjaw.
ROW 3: Ghost Raptor, Disk O'Inferno, Splatter, Overhaul, Nightmare, Blacksmith, Mega Tento, The Ringmaster.
ROW 4: Red Devil, Chrome Fly, Ultimo Destructo x2, Saw Blaze, Black Ice, Radioactive.
ROW 5: Moebius, Plan-X, Overdrive, Wrecks, Hellachopper, Counter Revolution, Invader, Sweet Revenge.
ROW 6: Bucktooth Burl, Bronco, Warrior Clan, Warhead, Clockwork L'Orange, Creepy Crawlies.

I really want to recreate the Season Two T-Shirt when I'm done lol.

Nightmare by far.

EDIT: I just noticed I included an older version of Beta with a janky af wedge but c'est la vie.

Seeing as Yugitom so kindly threw some nostalgia my way by uploading a picture of the actual card I stole based the original design off of, I decided to completely rebuild Drillroid in DSL 2.2. I would have posted this in my DSL showcase but, let's face it, this thing is not IRL.

At half the weight of the previous version (1950kg instead of 4500kg) Drillroid has also gained some new features...

The main body now articulates to act as a pinning weapon with the two little arms there to balance as well as being able to self right the big guy! And of course to finish it off I decided to slap a thick wedge on the front.

I don't want to sound like an idiot, but will you make your Battlebots replicas downloadable? They look so good and I completely understand, if you want to keep them private.

I think he mentioned a while back that the reps use custom motors so he probably wouldn't release them
but I might be wrong
