nice
rings are hard cuz they need gears or wheels around the perimeter of the robot to keep the ring in place.

what did you make that in?

Max, and the ring is powered by 4 geared motors turning the ring on 16 thick steel roller bearings.

Nice design...
Input is appreciated. :)

Wheelosaurus, originally built by Peter Gibson. I'm sorry if it looks edgy or something but I'm satisfied with my result.

Sorry to quote a reasonably old image. But i'm hoping to maybe build a bot in the future. I've just found out what kind with that image.

that is awesome.

one suggestion if the blade things on top of the bot where the other way round then it could be another weapon as the bots would go up the wedge and get sliced by them.

The blades on top are for armor, and to catch and hold enemy bots and carry them to the hazards.

The rows, not the wedge ACAMS...
Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

The wedge is to get them up on the rows, and they may be better turned around now that I look at it, but they are mostly for armor. When I made it, ARC/Drowning City RPG rules favored armored bots. (I was REAL busy and had to drop out, but it would have lost to the regulars anyway)

Though a few more vertices than a sheet or ramplate, it'd be cool to have armor plates for RA2 that looked like the top of that bot....
