Don't look for a torrent, because that could possibly be warez.

I wish I could model that good, the only thing I could model decently was a small part of a suspension... And that was using 2 ready made items in 3DSmax...

Has anyone here ever tried modelling in Second Life? I like the simplicity of the tools and the prims, and have made a few really simple bots like Wheely Big Cheese and Judge in it. The other fun part is that you can script Remote controls into them and even, perhaps, make an arena. No programming experience required, and no havoks :P!
The real problem with reality is the absence of background music.

Perhaps you could consider looking into it. Another good thing is you can also sculpt irregular shaped things outside of SL without costy programs, which means in this case, Blender, or even Wings3D will work.

Just some five-minute examples. Judge has a working arm, The flipper is really just an animated arm with a prim under the body that expands upward when something is ontop of it, throwing it into the air. The only special thing about the arena is the Pit script, which causes smoke to rise out when a bot falls in like the real Robot Wars arena.
The real problem with reality is the absence of background music.

I'm very bad at Sketchup, but I'm learning.
Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

Here's an older 30 concept that's not in the running currently. Looks cool for a wedge/plowbot, but I want to build something with an active weapon.

The gearing in the render would give it a top speed around 20mph
