Transparent backgrounds for splashes seem to be the prevailing trend  :really_makes_you_think:

Bot rundowns and opinions

Twisted Fate: Cool and clean VS. I like the improvement from first version, as well as the new color scheme
(Unknown name): Cool clamp. I especially like all those triangle plates for aesthetic. Gives it a bit of jagged feel
Pot Luck: Clean flipper. I especially like the skin on it, as well as the theme
(Unknown name): Based on Caustic Canary and Two Headed Death Flamingo, but still looks clean regardless. I like the extenderwork especially
Octane B-Spec: Clean. I like the skin, as well as the extenderwork, with how the support flows, and that deflector plate fits
Seraphim: Clean sawbot. I like all the extenderwork, as well as the trapping spike. The large saw is also good

Transparent backgrounds seem to make entering easier, though.  Splash making was the original reason I never entered.

Nowadays it's because life sucks.

So what happens in the case of a draw? Do they both go on the frontpage?

Octane: How does someone do all of that and still have almost 10 kilos left?

I have no idea myself xD I'm still genuinely astonished at how much weight I was able to trim off the first version.
