Hydro's Superheavyweight Juggernaught Challenge idea
« on: April 20, 2009, 12:26:30 PM »
me has an idea for a new design contest. dsl superheavyweights with at least 3 weapon systems, catchy names, and creative motto's. all components (other than extenders, wheels, and weapons) must be INSIDE the chassis, unless on a burst piston. only regular and cheatbot2 parts are allowed, no ai components. no bot file editing, PYtoning, or ai-ing allowed. members vote on which behemoth they determine is the most destructive, the most powerful, and the most juggernaut-like bot in the contest. entrants will need to pm me with their votes, to keep anonymousness to a maximum.

ALSO: to enter, i'm thinking pm me a splash of your bot. splash must have the weight and motto of the bot.

ALSO 2: no glitches other than stacking of batteries and ballast.

I think people would appreciate fights more. If they wanted to voted on, they could do the BOTM.

What the heck is the burst piston thing about?

And 3 weapon systems minimum is kinda dumb.

say if you attached a burst piston (with a spike) to a tank track.

example:

the 3 weapon systems is because the contest would be about "which one is the true juggernaut?", and a juggernaut is a force or object that crushes/destroys everything in its path, such as a tornado, a steamroller, or a tank (or in this case a superheavyweight behemoth of a bot).

this would be a design contest simply because i have never done a contest of ANY kind and i don't want to bite off more than i can chew.

Sounds like a possible BOTM......please DO NOT make contests like BOTM.
