yeah thats what I just asked a page ago ..... also since internal component skins are allowed in BOTM I would say they would be allowed in a Skinning Competition

Best not. MS Paint = No no for skinning..
Unless you did get another program. Forgot. But still. It's not your kind of tourney.

MS Paint isnt a bad program, its just the kids who take the spraycan and just scribble everywhere that give it a bad name. I've done work with several graphics programs in my time, I've found a combination of GIMP and MS Paint work best for me. I can't work well without one or the other. There are some things that work in paint that do not in PS or GIMP.

I didn't actually think of that. Huh.

Maybe it was good in it's time. But it's far too featureless in these times to hold a hat to anything.

I'm not saying it compares to PS or anything like that, its just sometimes simplicity is a good thing and I personally have found a lot of uses for it.

I use it to import skins and add bots to backgrounds..
Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

Heh. Expected a better bot then that, but who cares really?

It is made to skin, not fight, I have always had trouble skinning the shiny wheels, but every thing else skins nicely and the bot has lots of angles to key in on.

how many of you have downloaded NarAI beta ? that logo down the bottom that Naryar put there ? I made that by modifying his signature image in only MS Paint... (it was all I had access to) like Kill343 said its just kids who spray the can everywhere that give it a bad name... if fact for stock robot screenshots if you use the wand tool of a program like photoshop it will cut into parts of the robot but changing the secondary colour of paint will cut the robots out perfectly :-D

also ACAMS is skinning the chassis grid ok ?
