I hope this is the approiate place to put this.

I want to clear somthing up. As you all know. I left in September(I think) I didn't leave because you guys were being mean, just because I was getting bored of RA2 and with school starting I couldn't handle everything at the same time.

Now you've seen that I am back. I came back mainly because I was having technical difficulties, and you guys are the smartest tech people I know. I did not plan on staying, it was just a mere stop by, but I ended up staying here much longer than expected. Due to me staying here longer than expected, there has been some confusion. I've been seeing posts such as "Welcome Back!" and "Glad to see you want to improve," Well, I'll say it again, I AM NOT STAYING. There is no "back" Heck, I'll probalby being blowing out of here soon. Long story short, I am not back and I never was.

Now you MAY see me SLIGHTLY more around here, but more than likely not.
I also would like to thank you all for being so cooperative and helpful. You guys were alot nicer this time around then before.

So, I will won't be seeing you guys soon. Goodbye! (again)

I may be absent for an indefinite period of time, but two months at the most.  I am in a cabin in northern Minnesota working on my Master's project, and I thought I would have internet (which is why I didn't warn you guys earlier).  But it turns out the internet in my cabin went down after a lightning strike and they're still fixing it.  I occasionally get a connection but it's super slow and unreliable.
 
I don't know when I will have good internet again so don't expect to see me much for a while.

i'm leaving. my need to be here is zero. i lose rep for things you bunch of derps do on a regular basis.

'twas fun for a while, just hanging around. but now, i realized why i left in the first place, i'm simply not cut out for this community. and the community won't accept me either. i will still play RA my own way, but i'm leaving the community behind.

who knows? i might come back some day, and fulfill my promises of bigger and better things. another such reason is, my patience for needless rep drops and bad trolling has reached naught, so with nothing else to work or be here for, i bid you all adieu.

Next week I will be in another placement. The good news is I will be in the area of my hometown so i will be coming home once a week
so you will be seeing me on the forums less frequently. Just letting everyone know ahead of time.

Looks like I won't be leaving for the placement (At least not for a while) they haven't dealt with kids with Aspergers Syndrome so all the staff there are undergoing training.

I've got band events from now until about February. Until school starts for me in a week or so, my practice is Mondays, Tuesdays, no Wednesdays I think, Thursdays and Saturdays (got something coming up on this friday though) from 2:00pm to 9:00pm. I'll try to get the most out of the night hours as I can being on here but that's about it.

When school starts, it'll be Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. 3pm-5pm for practice, 3pm-godknowshowlong on game nights. It'll really buck up the amount of hours I'd like to be on for, but now you know.

*gave me feedback in my showcases.

Special thanks:

*Trovaner - It was really nice of you to build an arena for me to use in my tournament, I hope you never get this treatment that I have been getting.

*Clickbeetle - Best tournaments hands down, the reason I got into the tournament scene.

Why I'm leaving? well put it to you this way.. people like Enigma would find it cool to post here and say something along the lines of "you won't be missed" like the hardcore rebel he is. I don't believe in online bullying and this forum has too much for me, so instead of clogging up the forum with flamewars I will leave.

I will be on the forums a lot less starting Monday due to 6 reasons:

1. Exams are earlier for Northern Irish schools this year so I'll be busy.

2. I'm trying to work out a plan for myself for next ten years so I'll be thinking a lot more.

3. I'm broadening my horizons to change myself and erase stuff like anger issues and eating habits.

4. I'm focusing on other games like Pokemon Black 2, Xenoblade Chronicles, Final Fantasy VI, Civilization IV, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days, Virtues Last Reward the list goes on.

5. I'll be traveling up and down the coast of Northern Ireland a lot more due to winter fishing season.

6. With actual RA2-playing people like Ian leaving which leaves Nar, Pwn, NFX and GK as the only RA2 playing people of importance (As in very good/inspiring buliders)

So I'll be online maybe everyday or two but my posting will be down by quite a bit.

It'll be back to normal around December 15th so there you go.

Actually I'm going to stop posting until then.

Starting Monday the Northern Irishman will head back to where he belongs and maybe when I come back my buliding will hopefully be better.

Well, turns out I won't be off through January as I thought I would. Life has a lot of twists and turns.
Anyway I won't be posting bots anytime sooner either. My PC is out for repairs...Again... But this time it has nothing to do with the Hard Drive so I won't lose anything.

so I'll be in (well, I am right now) Tennessee for Spring break. I left on Sunday, stayed at a connectionless cabin for the remainder of Sunday, Monday and part of today and I'll be here (or there?) until Saturday or so.

TL;DR I won't get back home until saturday or so. I have a laptop on me.

I can probably tell that some of you have been waiting for this for a while. I've been contemplating making a post about this for a long time, and I've been trying to find the right way to say this without being, well, inflammatory.


But whether you've been looking at my recent posts or my activity, it's clear that I've just gotten bored of GTM. It's why I've tried to be an attention-seeker recently - I lose the spotlight and all of a sudden I realize that I don't play RA2 and the community isn't as active in other areas as it used to be. I have nothing against the people here and that isn't a factor in my leaving but of all the times, this is the kind of time to reflect on how I've contributed over the last few years.


I've left my mark but there's no way to take any of this forwards. It was just a fluke and I have just realized this now.



Will I still lurk and occasionally post? Yes. However, my long-term involvement with this community and RA2 in general has faded to a point where I can't lie to myself and say that I really am a true member any more.
