pack up, leave GTM and see the real word this year

If you do pack up and see the world make sure you plan a trip to Philly in early October and bring your bot.

Same for me I guess.

I have nearly no more building drive, maybe it is time for me to fade into the rank of legend.

we shall see what cash flow is like come october :P.. but im not sure if I would bring my bot.. customs wont let me travel home with a garbage bag full of shrapnel :P

mmm... Legend rank sure does sound nice doesn't it?..

I keep trying to motivate myself/ maintain interest to do things.. like Backlash online or CCIV but honestly im quite past this game..

I haven't even built new things for tournaments.. just dig out out robots from the robots designs folder,

Congrats, you're turning into me. We should go get a beer together and trade stories from the good old days, maybe show each other the scars on our robots.

It is a pity to see the supreme builders talking of leaving the forum...
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

There's only one problem... I don't drink

I decided over a year ago that the only reason I still hung around here was for the community. I don't build anymore, not that I was ever anything better than average. I ran out of ideas a long time ago, and I sure as hell am not capable of catching back up with modern building.

For some reason I have a hard time leaving places like this that meant so much to me behind. Doing it with my own forum hurt me enough, and it would hurt me a hell of a lot more than that to come back here someday and find out that this place went downhill.

How can you consider us supreme builders if we're not even building anymore ?

I probably am still more than capable, but I cannot just be assed to build something.

Implying I was ever supreme. Also, implying that I'm actually leaving.

Just realized something: I'm the Brett Farve of RA2. I've claimed to retire several times now, but every time building season (BBEANS) has come around I open up the bot lab and build something new.

BBEANS is awesome enough to stir up ALL of our whole fighting spirit !

Sadly, it doesn't makes n00bs build better because it is BBEANS.

Perhaps builder was the wrong word. I more meant it as a general term that describes you people on these forums. I guess supreme forum members would be more appropriated.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

For building bots...... I kind of lost interest right now. Every time I do make a successful bot and want to show it there's always 10-50 things "wrong" with it. All this "realistic" and "right way" stuff takes the fun out of it for me. Anyway back on topic

My new years resolution is to try and improve my anger management issues even more..... that's about it so far.

Is taking one challenge request. First come first serve. I'm a bit rusty now but I'm going to try and crank something out for this. MW and up no glitches DSL or Stock.

and quite frankly some of the community has taken a turn for the worse.

and i hope all three of you guys dont leave
