I'm not going to list the people who have completely lost interest in Robot Arena 2, because the list would be very short. If we listed everyone who still builds, but doesn't have Robot Arena 2 as a kinda main priority of coming here, then I think the list would probably be a bit longer.

We need a split Role Playing section. Playground was formed for forum games like Caption Game, Whats the bot, whos the member, etc.

A role-playing section we can all block would be nice.

People that join only for roleplay should be banned since they have nothing to do with RA2, and this forum is about RA2. I'm fine with roleplay if it's intelligent and funny and interesting, but it's true that we have too much roleplay threads for now.

Anyways sparkey, you complain about people getting off topic and making roleplaying threads but I haven't seen any RA2 related activity from you for a while... like showcasing, giving good advice in showcases, giving new and interesting ideas, attempting to learn to AI, starting a tournament (oh the drama that would start) ? Hmm ?

Anyway, I really don't like the RP's so I just ignore them

Buuuut, I can see why this doesn't solve the potential problems that ccan be caused by the rapid growth of the playground section.
Anyway, I think somebody's idea is the best ATM.
Although, personally I don't see why GTM would garner a huge amount of RP only members, there must be loads of better specifically RP threads out there.

The worst that could happen like that is if everybody here told their friends about the RP sections here and they all signed up.
But, once again, I don't get why people would do that either.

The one flaw in Somebody's plan is that it blocks the whole of Playground as opposed to individual RP threads. And I do somewhat enjoy the Caption Game thread. =P I'm doing what Scorps does at the moment.

That's somebodys idea, the whole point of it is that you don't need to block the few, mildly interesting playground threads.

But if a roleplay section was formed, the person responsible for doing it would have to transfer all the roleplay in the playground to the RP section. I don't think they would do that.
