I plan to do an elimination rumble.
Similar to the second chance tourney.
I have several opinions.

The results are in!

Hypershocked: 8
Termite: 4
Spinneroo, mate: 4
Hotbot: 2
Blackjack: 1
Duke: 1

Due to the fact that we are only allowed 2 wildcards,  Termite and Spinneroo, mate will have to battle for the spot.

Swiss army bots, 2 days. (10/17/16)

Interesting how Redace's entries are now fighting each other.
Looks like he's losing home-field advantage now.

This is quite a bit late, because I really, really didn't think much about it at all at the time. However, as recent events in other tournaments have started a bit of a wider discussion on this, I've started to realise there's a problem here at least worth pointing out. My entry into the wildcard rumble was really heavily changed from the entry without me being told, and it made the robot so redundant I would've rather not entered it in that state.

This is what I entered: http://i.imgur.com/UJycLdt.png

I recognise this probably broke your IRL rule in retrospect - especially considering that one of the actual entries into this tournament used the same basic design idea, but added significantly more supports that probably made it cross the line into IRL territory. I'm new to this and have already made a lot of mistakes that you kind of have to make when it comes to learning how the format works. But if you were going to completely 180 flip the robot, the very least you could've done is told me, and if there wasn't enough time to get any kind of fix or the problem was too fundamental, given me the option of pulling out, which I likely would've taken because flipping the robot made it... rather worthless and I would have rather refined the design for a future tournament than see something which really isn't mine any more entered under my name.

It's your first tournament. It's a single mistake in that first tournament which has otherwise run really well and been fun to watch. You were rushed for time in receiving three entries at once when you probably just wanted to get the rest of it underway, and I can tell this is very unlikely to have been done with any malicious intent - in fact, taking your time to try and make it legal had the best of intentions. I also really don't care about doing it or any other kind of battle again - what's done is done. But as we've just been through with others, it is important practice to inform people if you're going to quite radically change designs due to them breaking existing rules - just tell the person in question they've broken a rule, propose the change, and give a day or two to see whether they still want to enter with the revised robot (assuming there's no time for the quite hefty job that actually making that IRL probably would have been).

wakky, you really should've voiced that concern earlier, as I would have called Gulden out on it. I'm not even too sure how one flips a robot like that by accident or without contacting the original builder.

Gulden, if you didn't contact wakky about these changes, you must rectify them, I'm afraid. Hosts should only ever add smartzones (if necessary), edit smartzone names (again, if necessary) on any given bot. Any other modification of an entrants bot if prohibited. However, considering how the modification may not have particularly affected the bot's performance, if wakky is alright with it, you don't need to amend it.

I am curious as to what compelled you to make this change, tho.
