HotBot, Arachnida, Squawk, and Termite.  I felt these bots were unlucky and had some of the worst luck in their matches.

The point of flippers in the tourney is throwing the opponents out of the arena.  I do regret using the in game scoring, but I really can't change what I've done, now...

-Arachnida: looks cool and did well in the qualifier, but just couldn't get started.
-Hotbot: controlled the match well, even after losing its weapon.  (Is it meant to be using EternalFlame or is that not IRL?)
-Rambulance: controlled its match, lost by points.
-Squawk: (comedy vote)

It's the AI's fault to be like that, still can't blame the bot for it.

I'd like to see more of this bot even if it's a bit uncontrolable.

it did do a good job at it's fight and maybe could've even removed that wheel, sadly the chassis armor then got damaged and that was it.

Wonder how Termite's blade setup works, can you simply put stuff like that on axle extenders? it's nice that not the entire weapon broke off.
If you're going to do extra matches I'd like to have one against Blizzard, just for the destruction.

I mean that's a totally separate and unrelated issue, but yeah, it's pretty silly when a bot wins by pinning. By which I mean counting out the other bot by pinning it against a wall, not what happened in the match I mentioned.

I agree, I think it's best to continue with the current format for this tournament. Maybe reconsider if you host another :)

Thoughts:

Blizzard vs Hypershocked
Didn't expect to get one wheel off and wonder how much HP was left(probably still too much compared to the battery life of my bot)
Like expected, the long blade got the sides instead of the front first, which meant that it took quite a while to get a knockout, made for a interesting match instead of a boring 3 second knockout.
Wish I had more time to do the planned loadouts, but I think the fight was still nice to watch(even if it was a bit boring with the circling around happening for most of it), think I'll make the extenders for the front armor pannels inside instead of outside next time, they still seem to take damage even if it's actually the side pannel that gets hit.(Guess RA2's damage sharing mechanic still is in place or it temporarily gets bent out of place/has a big hitbox) For some reason the bottom pannel always gets lost first, must be the perfect height for spinners.

Think Blizzard uses a small perm? Else my bot would've been knocked away and didn't have a chance to even get close. Was a great match. No havoks until the end as well :P

Deathstalker vs Blackjack
Deathstalker's Axe was just a little too short but it still managed to get the hits in and defeat Blackjack, wonder how low it's armor was after that.

Green Arrow vs Spinneroo
That was a quick one, Green Arrow surprisingly good at OOTAing bots, wish that my flippers were able to do this kind of stuff, might be the wedge setup.

Space Shuttle vs Termite
Did the saw wheels do that much damage to take off the beater bar wedge piece? Or was that the ant blades which I've heard are basically like Razors?

Arachnida vs Duke
Arachnida started strong, taking off the motor of Duke but then lost the hammer, thought it would lose because of that(which would've been sad since it controlled the match up to this point) but it did manage to get a nice knockout via the arena hazards.

Hotbot vs Rambulance
Hotbot does look way better with it's skinned wedge, sadly it's still rather thin which means low turning and doesn't have much to it. In my view it's flipper was stronger (which is a bit odd given that Rambulance uses a Spring Beta just like Green Arrow, who was able to do good OOTAs) but it would have trouble self righting. Rambulance managed to OOTA it however.
